I kind of did something similar for my last Disney trip. Last year I collected together a load of Disney beauty and the beast stuff- socks, t-shirts, pyjamas and accessories such as lanyard,hair bow, purse, autograph book etc. to take as well as stuff for a Harry Potter party. Then I took them with me on my holiday in the new year.

Loved your videos of what you planned each day vs what you actually ended up doing. Also, tip for those gift cards if you didn't already know is to combine them all onto one card on the disney gift card site. Easier to keep track of one card and it's also digital if you lose it! I accidentally threw away the wrong gift card once because I thought it was empty. Luckily I had it registered online so I could just transfer the balance to an empty card! Another company that does AMAZING Disney monograms is The Blonde Ruby! She has her own website and she offers SO many characters! It's something to look at next time you go! She's great at communicating with you and is so sweet. I got my mom and sisters pullovers of their favorite characters and they LOVE them!

Yes, Kavu's are incredible!! I use mine for church trips and retreats to carry my Bible, journal, and necessities around. They last forever too - I've had mine for three or four years!

My little toes too, I will definitely have to get them to try . Our last trip we did 33,000 steps in one day . You will love the packing cubes , I use them every trip. The Clinique balm is great and doesn’t irritate my eyes, I have the NYX balm and it is fine for my fave but it irritates my eyes .

Yes! My mom and I have always started a pile of stuff for trips. Gets us excited about the trip and helps with packing so we don’t forget anything. We are both organized like you so we get it! Purity face wash is also great for emergency sink washing clothes. We’ve had a couple mishaps (like an entire glass of orange juice) on trips and didn’t want to leave soiled clothes until we got home, it works remarkable well as a detergent and easily rinses out easily.

I absolutely keep a box going. We have been planning our Disney trip since June - very excited. I bought a 100 pack of glow sticks I can't wait to give out to kids in the parks at night with my children. I also bought some fleece. We may be from New York, but next week looks like of chilly for Florida! Our EEM in Toy Story Land is forecasting at 38 degrees low. Thank God for beanies!

I’ll decide I’m going to wear an outfit on a trip a month ahead of time and then not wear it *just in case* something were to happen to it (I’m super clumsy so it’s not implausible)... it definitely makes a trip even more special to have some new things to use!

I got the Kavu bag for Christmas and use it as my everyday purse. I love it!! It is so wonderful to have both arms free in stores and you can spin it around to the front of you to get anything you need. Have a wonderful trip!!

I loved that your saving the lip balm for Disney! When we went on our first trip, I bought some body scrub from Basin in Disney Springs and used it while we were there and now anytime I use it at home it reminds me of Disney. 😊 Super excited to watch your upcoming videos! In October I used a pleather black backpack, with only two pockets. It reminds me of the first bag you showed. It worked out fantastic. It fit in all the cubbies like mission space and the avatar ride. Hopefully yours is as successful as mine.

Kavu bags are great for parks. They are really popular around where I live, although I have heard from friends who live other places that they had not ever heard of them. They are pretty much what I use for the last few years when I go to amusement parks.

Packing cubes: I found that I really like to use the Ebags medium size more than anything. That size fits perfect in a 20 inch luggage (2 side by side). Then I use the long bag for my shoes and the small ones for undies and tech. I had to stop myself from using my label maker to label the packing cubes.

I stole this tip from you almost 2 years ago! We travel to disney every year but live in MN so we don't have a use for the "Florida weather" type things so we store it all in there! Things like stroller fans or our Mickey ears (thanks for getting me addicted to Mila Mouse BTW), or if we pick up a new swim suit or something fun! When I'm having the disney blues I sit in front of my treasure box and think of the days to come!!! SO EXCITED for these vlogs. The tour you got for Riley sounds absolutely amazing. Girl, I hoard stuff for Disney, too, haha!! It’s so much fun! Also, obsessed with packing cubes. You’ll be surprised at how much space it adds to your suitcase, especially when you roll up shirts. It makes it easier to keep your stuff organized in the hotel drawers, too. I also have a Travelon bag that is very similar to that with RFID blocking and anti-slash, and I love it so much, especially being able to lock your zippers. You just never know! I’m curious to see if you like the crossbody backpack because we bought the same kind from eBags last fall and haven’t used it yet. We bought it for Disney and it’s stashed away, of course, haha!

If you want to protect your paperbacks, buy a roll of clear contact paper and cover the book. You can still have the cover, but it just protects from bending edges and things. Have fun at Disney- I'm in Tampa and it is a little chilly (for Florida). Michelle

Love your videos! And no, you're not weird for having a trip basket. I've done that for years. It's especially for things I don't want to forget to take on trips. And thank you for videos like this: things to pack for Disney and beyond. Mom and I have been going to the D23 Expo for the last 3 Expos. I usually over-pack with "in-case" stuff that I end up not needing. And I've been doing this for many, many years. Hopefully I can actually plan my luggage packing this time with your tips in mind WAY in advance for this years trip to the D23 Expo and whittle down my "must-haves." Got to have room for souvenirs! When I was a kid, we would buy CDs for Adventures in Odyssey and save them for the trip. I love putting stuff away for trips! Can’t wait for the vlogs! I would love to see a packing video and expectations vs reality again :)
