The Travelon bag I use is the quilted anti theft crossbody bag which came with an RFID wallet. The best feature about the bag is that the zipper latches. I've had at least two pickpockets give up because of this bag. I don't know if they still make it (I purchased it in a champagne color a couple of years ago and wish I'd purchased another color as well) but if it's still offered by Travelon, that's the bag I'd recommend. I never use the lining of the suitcase for dirty laundry or shoes, but I do tuck a dryer sheet in there. Keeps the luggage from smelling musty, and keeps your clothes fresh too.

I didn't use a dryer sheet for this trip. I am not sure why. But yes, love the dryer sheet trick.

@@PntrGrl Its not like Im eating them 🙄 if essential oils are your jam (cause they’re ‘all natural’), then put a couple drops on a reusable cotton round and tuck that into your suitcase lining to keep it fresh.

You should use compression cubes or bags for the non crease items to compress the volume ,using a whole packing cube for one brush takes up far too much room ,plus that brush is huge , solid toiletries are a life saver for packing light ,it is good to see you roll which is the best way to pack x

I believe the zipper to the inter working of the bag is so that TSA can search it easier without having to rip the lining if they find your bag suspect.

Do the packing cubes help you fit more clothes in the suitcase than you would be able to fit without them?

Shonda W They can because they help compress the clothes. The ones I show here are a little bulky. They have ones that are ultralight.

How can you take deodorant and toothpaste and not have to put them into your 3-1-1 bag? I always read if it can be spilled or smeared that they had to go in that bag.

Yes, it fits. It's 15.5" x 15.5" x 8.5". Airlines will be around 19" x 19" x 9".
