No, you cannot work more than 20 hours during school time in the US and Canada. During three months holiday, you can work as much as you want, that is when you can save money for next year tuition. Don't break the law, you can get deported, trust me, I know.

I have currently processing my study permit and I'm having some concern regarding my Tuition fees... Please is it possible for me to pay my Tuition fees semester by semester and at at least work before paying it? I have God and myself... Or I should find the means to pay first semester tuition then I can work to balance up the following semester in my first year. My tuition is $20,000 i.e I will be paying $10,000 in first semester. Please what can you advice

@@abednegotsikata245 no one for sure know if visa is certain %100, but if what you asking is that, if you can sponsor your self , the answer is yes but note you still have to provide a bank statement of the certain amount, letter from the bank, and affidavit stating that you are sponsoring your self with the required amount and you can also add deposit payment receipt as part of the proof of funds. But don’t forget to also state it in your Statement of purpose , get a valid business certificate , to proof the above 👆
