Nice work! I'm making a few sets right now and it does take a lot of work to get these boards to look nice and make them useable.

Thank you so much for sharing! You are by far one of the best video tutorials out there. Like below, I would love to see the name of the paints and stains you are using. I even learned something new with the stencils and reg marks. LOVE IT! How do we order one from you?

Great video! Thanks for the tip about using registration marks for multi-color vinyl stenciling. I'm about to paint my first cornhole board with vinyl stencil graphics, but only a single-color for my first go at it. This is just the video I was looking for. Do you ever stain the wood before the initial clear coat? Thanks.
@cubmasterdarren2 жыл бұрын
I do stain on occasion. If I do...I clear coat on top of it before laying graphics.

I have the same US Cutter machine, but have never learned how to use it. It looks like you’re in Texas like I am. I’d love to come build a set with you and learn house to use the Cutter machine.

Those look amazing, what do you charge for the TCU boards?
@edwardcamara49422 жыл бұрын
great job i use a sponge brush as well to lay down the urethane ,but i apply it with a foam roller and then put the roller and tray with tray liner into a trash bag, blow a little air in there and a sqeeze clamp to keep it airtight. Then i can use that same roller and tray over and over.

Great video! Did you use the same process for the fire department boards? If so, how many stencils did that one need?
@seanmcnaughton59712 жыл бұрын
I really appreciate your videos. Thank you. I could really use your advice on a set of boards I’m working on. It’s my first time with layered colors and the bottom layer keeps peeling up after I try to pull off the oracal mask stencil that is being used for the top layer. Any ideas?

Sorry...Ive been neglecting my page recently. I hope your set turned out OK. I don't usually have trouble with paint peeling if I use 3 coats of clear under the color. If you just paint right onto the bare wood it will peel up.

Your finished product is great! Amazing job! The sprayer "should" do a better job then the brushes, maybe you have to adjust your setup a bit. Regardless, as I first stated amazing product at the end. Amazing work ethic and attention to detail!!!

What grit do you sand with before you actually lay your stencil? Also is you clear coat you use in the beginning the same clear coat you use in the end to finish your boards?

Great stuff! What kind of clear coat did you use please?

Last question! Do you find putting down a couple clear coats on the top before painting prevents bleed through?
@cubmasterdarren Жыл бұрын
@@livingthedream29 absolutely. I even put a coat of clear on top of the stencil sometimes before I put additional coats of color.

Great work, what is your vinyl cutter and what do you use for vinyl? If you don’t mind me asking?
@rweakley Жыл бұрын
Wait, so you take off the backing and put it back on a couple inches higher? Why not just peel a couple inches off the bottom and cut off a small strip?

lose the music, I got a headache which means no like and no subscribe. Sorry
@gXXrGoNe2 жыл бұрын
Yeah the music was way too loud. And it wasn't even needed when your talking. Some ppl may complain about the type of music, that doesn't matter. It's the loudness and effort ppl have to make to listen to you talk and ignoring the music. Best of luck!
