It’s so simple to see the process but the final look it’s stunning❤

RIGHT?! Outlines, shadowing and highlights makes such a difference!! I cannot paint on something that I don't outline and I think thats why I love your art so much because of all the "lining" you do afterwards with gouache makes the painting look natural without it being harsh and inorganic but still part of the painting in a way.

Exactly!! :D I think painting outlines with the same colours of your painting, instead of using black for example, it really helps to not make the painting to look too harsh!! We're the same!! If I don't outline my works they look unfinished to me! especially because there is always a kind of "smudged" edges when the paint dry and since I'm a perfectionist in my works... everything must look perfect and defined xD

This is so lovely, I love your painting style. Years ago in art school they had us paint with gouache on illustration board. It was a hard surface and the paint would lift very easily if you weren't careful. I've never tried gouache with watercolor paper and after watching your technique I will have to give that a try. Love your videos and your voice is so relaxing:)))

Sandra Ruberto , thank you for taking the time to reply. I am so disappointed, I am in Canada so no idea where to find that brush. 😥
@sandraruberto88066 жыл бұрын
you're welcome! ah yes unfortunately Gerstaecker is a shop based only in few european countries :( but you can always search for liner brushes with long bristles (or also called rigger brushes) and I'm sure you will find something similar also in Canada! hope this helps! ^^
