You've done it again Maria - you have managed to turn a mundane picture of a dirty wall and a decrepit old bench into a work of art. I love it!! It was so enjoyable watching this painting come to life.

I truly love this artist. Thank you so much for your videos Maria. I think I mentioned in another video of yours that all though I grew up with art in my life, both parents being artists, the one medium that always scared me off, was watercolour lol. But during this pandemic I decided now was the time to take the bull by the horns and just do it. I became frustrated last year, because although I new how to paint, leaning to paint with water colour was a whole new ball game, until I found your videos! I truly am grateful Maria, with your videos I've now FINALLY started to enjoy it, and I'm actually producing paintings I'm happy with. xx With the bonus that they are soooooooooooooo relaxing to watch lol. x

Hello Maria, thank you for sharing this! Extremely helpful! Can you please tell me what size (dimensions) are your reference photos that you work off of?
@mariamorjane2 жыл бұрын
Hi Rebecca, I have the reference image on the computer screen when I paint, and most of the time I zoom in on the reference so the size on the screen is the same as my sketch on the paper.

Hello again, where is the downloadable sketch for this painting? I can't seem to find it and also I messaged you about trying to find another sketch... thank you for your help.

Do you use a printout of the image as a reference to paint or do you paint from the device? Do you use wet on wet technique to paint a face in portraits?
@mariamorjane3 жыл бұрын
Hi, I create all my sketches by hand. I do use wet on wet when I paint animals, landscapes and human portraits, but with windows/architecture I paint a lot 'wet on dry' to create different textures and uneven surfaces 🙋🏻♀️🌸

@Maria Raczynska no,what I meant by the first question is,do you print out an image to draw it by hand and paint it or do you use a device and look at the image in the device to draw it by hand and paint it?
