How I painted Jock Lewes | WW2 Bolt Action miniature of the SAS founder from Warlord Games

I was lucky enough to win this model of Jock Lewes from a Warlord Games giveaway on their Facebook page and thought I could make a video on how I would paint an SAS model for North Africa in WW2.

Thanks Rory. Quick question. I tend only to use vallejo model colour. Would you use game colour for any specific reason other than it has a particular shade/color you are after?

The game colour range is pretty close to early 2000s Citadel colours (as is Coat d'arms) so I mainly have them for consistency with old colour schemes. They are also more of a satin finish than model colour, which is pretty matt. Allegedly they are formulated to be harder wearing as well. Not that the latter two points matter if you are varnishing anyhow!
