Number 1 thing to learn is how to subnet quickly. Because the exam is timed and there are multiple live action troubleshooting labs on the exam; and if it takes an exam candidate 5-10 minutes to work through what is a foundational skill, they'll run out of time for sure.

that's right! I also learnt to do subnetting fast. Otheriwise it is challenging to make the exam in time!

Subnetting literally takes seconds. Just use your fingers lol.

I'd say doing projects and hands on. Getting the certification doesn't equal getting job! There is a lot positions for DevOps/Cloud/Linux engineers so try to also look at Cisco's DevNet! Good luck!

Hey :) difficult to give one number as some questions will require more processing and some are quite straightforward… but as a rule of thumb you can assume 1.5 -2 min per question :)

One of my co workers had to retake his CCNA a month ago but he said the ere was 80 something questions and he had no simulations is this true? Did they take off simulations? Or did he lie or get lucky to not get any of those for questions

Hey man! Thanks for question :) In my view, it is possible setup of 80 questions and no labs. However, going for an exam I would recommend to lab a bit as these are also the most fun part of exam! Good luck!
