looking @ HiGregs material, was it 1 to 1? So 8 domains, 16 weeks. Focus 1 week of reading a specific domain, and next week focus on that same domain practice exam, same domain test questions, online quizzes etc. Follow same format for next 14 weeks? Let me know and Thank you

May I ask a question about how should I claim qualifying experience in the CISSP endorsement process? I was a network admin, security is a part of my job. Can I claim my qualifying experience using that experience? For example, if I have 10 years of experience in network administration, then how many years of experience can I claim for the qualifying experience in IT security?
@ITSecurityLabs4 жыл бұрын
If you were doing security as part of the job, specify the number of years when you have security experience and what domains they were. For example , network admins configure ACLs, so all the years that you were creating and maintaining ACLs count as security experience
@chenguangwang36974 жыл бұрын
@@ITSecurityLabs Thank you very much for your reply. To make it clear, if all my years of experience as a network admin related to security, they all count as security experience, even they are just part of my responsibilities?
@chenguangwang36974 жыл бұрын
or, I have to claim just part of the experience as a security experience. For example, if I have 9 years of experience as a network admin, I can only claim 3 years of security experience as security is just part of my responsibilities?

Femi Israel Akinyemi the CISSP is adviced for those who had worked in IT for 5 years or more . However you can take it and became an associate. It will be harder if you have never worked in IT.

Hi, I have never had any experience working in IT field before, can I study over a long period of time and still pass the CISSP exam.
@dookiepuddle4 жыл бұрын
You won't meet the requirements to be CISSP certified. You'd get something called ISC2 that acknowledge that you passed the test, but you won't get the title.
@jonh.73795 жыл бұрын
Give us that ISC2 number. You stated you were supposed to take the exam on June 20th. If you really passed, you should have no problem providing it to the umpteenth person asking you. If not, this is just one giant self promotion scam.
