I like ekko a lot but i do think the champ is just not very strong at the moment, tanks counter him quite a bit, as an assassin you cant really do much against them so you always have too look for the squishes Also i think first strike might be better here (first game)

I really hope that they get their head out, and gut Sylas W finally. That ability should not be as busted as it is for a champion that already deals a lot of unavoidable damage with his passive. Q and E hitting are entirely optional in certain matchups for Sylas.

i'd say dota 2 is worse. MOBAs in general have really toxic playerbase. smite is another moba i play and i'd say at least one person leaves or sits in fountain and flames teammates pretty much every match in that game.

As much as people say it, I think you're also more likely than you think to find people actually joking and complimenting eachother. A lot of players walk on eggshells to not tilt the manchild(ren) of the team, so if real recognizes real, you're gonna get good convos from time to time. I play ranked every now and then for SR quests and I'm surprised by how cordial and humble some people are compared to aram where it's often a Jerry Springer meltdown.

MOBAs as a whole definitely have the most toxic playerbases of any game genre (competitive team game with plenty of time to type while dead or while walking), but as far as MOBAs go, league isn’t as toxic as some others, namely DotA 2, which has what I’d consider the most toxic playerbase of any game ever.

MOBAs are basically designed to be the most angering games to play lmao. Not on purpose, of course. The combination of personal performance vs group performance leads to people overestimating their contributions and downplaying their team's, and feeling like they performed better than others (thus blaming their teams more often). It's just not a healthy environment

the first game is why i always laugh when people cry about ksante. a tank that does mediocre damage and has to be right in your face without any hard counter to cc, is nothing compared to a fed ADC like MF that can literally one shot your whole team with a single button press, or proceed to 3 shot each enemy with non stop 0 resource cost, non existence cd auto attacks (that dont require aim either because its point and click auto aim). Try playing a moba where the adcs actually have to aim their auto attacks and youll see how over tuned adcs are in league. also ksante can barely split push too which means if his team is behind, theres really no win condition for him unlike splits pushers that will literally end the game if you dont constantly send 2 people to stop the split. The ksante hate is honestly just a band wagon fad because a couple pros cried about him and the typical league player wants to feel pro too so they must complain as well. And no im not a ksante main.

She was only able to do any of that was because she had a renata. Not gonna argue the fact that she literally presses one button and nukes teams though. She's beyond braindead, but she's very high risk. Tanks being good is that they're low risk, and don't have to worry about positioning or getting hit as much. Yeah they do damage, and Ksante turns into a raid boss that multiple people are required to deal with, but the strength is just that they're less punishable, especially in lane.

@@xVibra at the end of the day games are determined by 1 or 2 big teamfights in the late games. ksante doesn't do much at that point other than be a damage sponge. People are honestly just mad that a very tanky champion does SOME damage when THEY get caught out. Meanwhile you've got a champion like malphite that can 1 shot a whole team with his R once and win a game regardless of your positioning. If the champion cant instantly turn a big teamfight or hasn't great poke in late game, people shouldn't be crying. buy liandrys, pick a poke champ. don't walk into him like an idiot, simple.

@@cresentj Right, you're never gonna have a teamfight if you have to send 3 people to stop the split pushing Ksante... Just say you don't build defensive items, and ego against poke champs. Ap Malphite is easy to hard counter, and is one of the worst examples for hyper carries you could've picked. Just because meta champs are better than him, none of which are poke champs or AP malph btw, doesn't mean he's not extremely uninteractive. He doesn't have to be a good champ when he is much less punishable than a champ that explicitly beats him like Vayne. It's what makes Akshan revive passive so strong. It prevents the enemy from being able to get ahead like Fizz or Renekton who depend on it, or else they can't win. Sion is the same exact way and he doesn't have gap closers or damage reduction... Saying a champ should be balanced better, or weaker champs literally can't compare to Ksante, is not an indictment that people don't know how to play against it. Saying AP Malph is a strong pick clearly is though...
