Funnily enough, the Ikv. 65 II is my favorite little TD. Gun depression, reload, and pen are really great. But the mobility of it is what really makes it shine. It really is just a little shoot and scoot kind of tank. Good for peeking hills from behind a bush to kemp, and then after you fire at your target you slam it into reverse and gtfo.

WOW - I actually loved the vehicle. I am 49% win rate player and I ended up with 59% win rate in that tank after 56 battles. My 4th best performing tank.

Reminds me of the ARL V39. It's one of the tanks that I have the highest WN8 rating in, and a Radley-Walter's medal. I didn't really like it, but it didn't suck the way I thought it would after watching Jingles' review of it. Keep to the rear of the engagement and snipe, and it's ok. The tank is really pretty bad, but what makes up for it is the gun, which has the highest penetration of all guns at tier 6 (212 mm).

I have 2 routes... Route 1 - The Long breath: Just like you said before...once I have claimed my daily bonus exp. I'm done until next day. Route 2 - Wallet Warrior: Disable the improved crew training, Play premium and fully researched tanks (elites) and claim their daily bonus. And convert the regular exp. to free Exp. and invest that in the tank.

I playing through the 110 at the moment, but since it's a T8 tank, I've been using in on Frontlines when available. I wait until the end of the FL battle, when I've reached as high rank in the battles as I think I can, then I play one round with 110. This way I've got the tracks and the engines and the turret unlocked. I've played 5 battles in randoms, when it was 3x or 5x for the first win. I went with our T10 heavy tanks, loaded HE, tracked some enemies and let my team take care of them, also spammed gold ammo as much as needed because I wanted that victory. With 110, I don't really care if I win or lose, so I go all-in, if I die and get 200 xp for the first win, I don't care, but if I succeed and get 2000 xp, it's worth the risk IMHO.

I remember getting to the churchill VI and looking at the churchill GC thinking 1500 dmg ?! i thought im gonna be oneshoting people so i grinded towards it ._. took me awhile to realise why it wasnt doing 1500 dmg on average .. the good ol days of wot

Keep playing and accept the challenge. Playing bad tanks well helps you learn to adapt and overcome even when in a good tank that is in a bad position.

My tip for stock grinds which you don't like or frustrating tanks: Wait for times 5 XP events and then turn on your precious personel reservers en quickly go through them. Also in general you don't have to play all tanks in WOT you can select the lines you will enjoy and focus on those. Even if you would let's say prefer heavies and only play those there is so much content to go through.

My advice... spot and track opponents so your team can get them. I did that with pershing and it works well.

My tip for Blitz version (don't know how it works on PC): use common boosters, don't combine them to get better ones. It will take more battles to use them, but you will get most exp boost out of them. If you have some upgraded exp boosters, use them on tanks you despite, but only on 2x exp for first victory each day. Credit boosters are best used with tanks that have best credit coefficient which you can find via WoT Blitz tank parameters websites. Premium tanks give most, but tech tree tanks can have it also high. British TD line for example. AT 8 and AT 15 are both nice credit makers for f2p players and not bad tanks at all.

I can't even stomach this game anymore. The predetermined outcomes. The Stacked matches. Lopsided victories all day long well everybody else suffers lopsided losses just got to be too much. However I do still enjoy coming on here and watching quickybaby play. The place for free account has been an awesome source of entertainment for me.

You should also be mentioned... If you're having problems with low penetration and you can't really do much in the way of damage because of that... You can always move up track a vehicle and then pull back while your teammates take him down getting you the assistance damage for tracking and helping your team that way.

You have to love that he's getting spotted by a tank facing the other way, travelling away from him, in a river bed with no LOS. It's really frustrating to see how broken the spotting mechanics can be.

Direction of travel has nothing to do with spotting. Cupolas have viewports all around, and periscopes turn. I do spotting runs up the riverbed all the time, and there is clear LOS from the riverbed to where QB was spotted. It didn't help that he had no camo applied and is in a relatively tall tank.

Best advice I would give is to grind a couple lines at a time. That way you can get daily doubles and learn about the different types of tanks, heavies mediums ect. and not be terrible at the game when you get to tier 8-10

Not sure why, but I actually quite enjoyed that little TD. I don't rush my research and only play daily doubles to maximise efficiency, only using free XP when I have a terrible gun I need to upgrade (just done it in the t54 where I have a 35% WR with the stock gun!)

I take the hardest most annoying and frustrating route because I simply dont care about stats. I just play it til I get about 3-5k exp for it per day through good and bad matches.

I have a love/hate relationship with this, shoot/think/flank, it taught me this. But the lessons have been at times, painful. For some reason, like a bad girlfriend, I still go there. Agree with you about playing it as a scout as well.

Not quite free to play, but buy improved suspension, so you don't have to grind tracks before more important things like guns, turrets, engines... then dismount them when you have the tracks, and move them up and use them again on the next tank in the line. It only costs 10 gold to dismount.

The stock sturer emil is a tank that only a mother could love. Just grind free xp in a premium tank if you have one and use boosters if you have them. And make use of daily doubles to play as little of the tank as possible.

i did the daily doubles for years. working and family let me have about 3 hrs a night. jump in tank, get a couple good damage shots, maybe a kill and die. got to next, rinse and repeat. finally got thru most tanks in game. now i play the ones i really like and my win rate has risen dramatically. except for weekends and events....

I can sympathise, QB. I started on swedish tanks just to get the UDES, but I stalled right at this 65II. It's nowhere near as bad as the previous two tiers (those howitzers... between the time when you fire the shell and the time when the shell lands, your target has moved so far it's practically in the next map.) but I just ran out of steam. Still, the tank itself isn't spectacular. I'd honestly rather use the Churchill GC. Best thing about it is I understand where the design of the oldschool Warhammer 40K rhinos came from. Currently trying to grind sixth sense on a T-150. People laughed at me for using the 107mm gun on a KV-2, so I got a T-150. At the start it was fine, but now I'm wondering what the hype is. Constantly penned despite the more armoured turret; tracks fall off if you breathe heavily on them; for some reason too many of my shots - shots that used to be sure things - are now bouncing or whiffing off onto the wild blue yonder... I'd rather just use the 107 gun on the KV-2 again, at this point. Only keeping with the T-150 because I'm so close to 100% sixth sense. The sunk cost fallacy has gripped on hard.

You did not mention blueprints. They take of the research cost of tanks. I think the universal blueprints are usable on any tanks. If you scroll over a tank with a partial blueprint you will see that it gives a discount on the research. I am doing the TS-5 marathon and have had quite a few blueprints drop.

Is funny since I loved the Ikv 65... the only downside is that ALL the first shots I received with it in a game are always an engine crit. But that also happens with the majority of the vehicles of the line so...

In my opinion the french lights tree is one of the worse. The second half is pretty great, but the first half you start with slow vehicles with bad guns such as the AMX 40, and then you arrive on the AMX ELC Bis which is a basically a battleship gun on a skateboard powered by a rocket. The first half does not prepare you at all for the second half.

I am using it as a td/scout, i decided to get optics and scout with this sitting in a bush and providing vision for my team, and also use it as a sniper and hits most of the shots. This tank is not as good but the size does help and yeah your a paper pretty much

I am currently playing the Churchill GC, I have had to get off my high horse. Previously: campers are a useless blight on the game and need to uninstall. Now: camping is a fine tactic and uses your tanks strengths to their full advantage.

IDK Quicky, all tanks have potential to do damage, so that is what I try to do. I don't get too stressed about it, because eventually stats even out. I fire more premium, or I might use a premium consumable until I can research top guns. Not really too bad, thought often you have to adjust, lets say like the T54E1 how it had horrid mid to long range accuracy, you just had to get closer. All tanks are usable, and you can't get too stuck looking too far ahead or you miss the beauty of the now. There is good in each tank, just have to look a bit harder with some than others.

QB: just an observation from playing the different tiers. Does it seem like Tiers VI and VIII have some delicious tanks with competitive advantages for their Tiers, whilst Tier VII has a bunch of stinkers? Ok, yes, I know your favorite tank, the Comet, is Tier VII. But if you think about the other tech trees, it sure seems like there are a lot of tanks that have very little enhancement from their Tier VI brethren? Your thoughts?

Hey QB! Have an idea to throw at the devs. See if they would allow the premium time to be savable like a consumable. Sometimes we unlock so premium time, but due to work schedule or family needs there isn't time to put into playing. If we could activate our premium time on our schedule it would make the game far more enjoyable. Rather than losing the premium time.

Earn as much free xp as you can, that first gun (the tier 3 gun) is awful. It's the same one that's on the AMX 40 I thought.

The most frustrating thing about the T95 for me was , slowly trundling toward the battle but the battle was moving away faster because your team were just a bit too good. Alternately having a terrible team and eventually being surrounded by the other team who then slowly whittled away at your hp. Other than that it was great fun to blast enemies in the face with a T95.

Honestly the AT-8 is my favourite destroyer. Superheavy TD's are fun, especially when people charge you because "Oh look a pleb destroyer is charging at me time to oneshot it" and then watch them utterly fail because they don't aim for the copula thing. The AT-7 is just awful though, and the 15 is only marginally better. That copula is huge.

Sometimes, at least for me, it's playing the tank in a completely different way than it's supposed to. I have also played through the Ikv65 recently and I mostly used it as a quick active scout. I used to drive into postion ASAP, set up binocs and/or get proxyspots and then fuck off before arty noscoped me. In the same way you can use light tanks as mid-to-long range snipers if you have stock engine/tracks and you just don't have the speed to get around the battlefield as you should.

Jagdpanzer 4: worst alpha and pen out of all the tier 6 td's, mobility is medicore, view range is shocking, accuracy is too bad and the armor is god damn awful. Also the transmission gets fcked all the time, since it covers 50% of the front... Also the gun traverse, depression, elevation and gun dispersion values are rubbish

See here is the thing. Compared to the TD that you had to grind through to get to this one. It took me a while to figure out it was junk. I can deal with the armor, and the view range. You just have to pick your spots for best effect. But the reload time. OMG!!! buff that already. If they fixed that so you can do some damage when you do choose to commit. Yea then it could be fun.

What I've done for years now is just have about 5 tanks im grinding at any time and just play them until I get my double, and then go play my fun tanks. Currently i have 7 tier 10s with about 10k battles played mostly without premium so I think its working pretty well.

IKV 65 is actually decent.. The next one is waaay worse. Tier 7 swedish td basically has tier 6 gun and even worse mobility.

I think you're remembering things wrong. The gun is slightly better (more pen, faster shell velocity) and the tank itself is faster by a bit. IT also has armor that cam be made to work if you play with angling.

I had np with this tank and liked it. I only fired 2 or 3 rounds of prem ammo once every 10 games.

if you don't like the ikv 65 II, you'll see fast enough that ikv 90 B is the same tank with less flexibility, same alpha, and worse rate of fire (yep, lower dpm than the tank 1 tier below with the same alpha)

Lol are you actually insane? The tier 6 has 1.5k dpm with the top gun the tier 7 has 1.8 with the same gun and 2k with the upgraded one...

When I played trough the Ikv 65 II, I didn't liked it either. But somehow I got a Kolobanov's Medal in it. Was good fun in a tank that is not even remotely good.

t44 grinding is a major pain with that first gun with 175 pen and you need the turret for the next good gun , but is it good gun garbage 190 pen with 250 alpha remember your strength is speed but you need another 75000 exp to unlock 2 engines after all that you are so fed up with losing I have just given up on that t44, I was really interested about obj 430 and t54 BUT its horrible grind.

when had the TVP VTU(Seless), i used to yolo full HE and track anny tank i cant penn and meatshield when possible.
