Good stuff Joe. Of course I stayed till the end, lol. I never thought to use that GSPro speed chart so that's a good idea. On a real course, I pace off my putts so I can get the distance. So for every step is basically a yard and times that by 3 to get it in feet. So I think I will make a custom test as well like you did but instead of 10,15,20 I will go something like 12,15,18 etc. Cheers!

Might not be the most “interesting” video to the masses, but as someone who just got a square launch monitor setup I’m very interested in how you practice putting. I didn’t even know your practice facility had all those options. Gonna have to rewatch that video when you released it and explore it more myself I suppose 😂. I watched to the end as I am interested in how you are doing all your alignments with ball placement, VX alignment and VX alignment to the screen and mat. I'd like a step by step of what you are doing. Ball placement in the VX hitting area, ball aim point on the screen etc.

Would love to see a video on how hard you swing based on different putting distances (similar to a 3/4 or 1/2 swing with a wedge), as well as how to calculate "feel distance" when putting uphill and downhill, and how to navigate break.

I'm a bad putter and I'm trying to focus on my putting this winter. I have a gc3 and recently also got an exputt. I practice on both, and seeing your process is helpful. I'm just working through trial and error to see what works for developing pace and face angle control. Do you adjust pace by swing length or purely by feel?

How would you compare the GSPro speed vs the Exputt speed. I have the impression Exputt is significantly slower. If I usually play GSPro at 10 stimp, but would be the setup in Exputt?

I stayed, nice video! Though I still don't understand why it's not a squared relationship between putting speed and distance on an ideal flat green. High-school physics tells us that regardless of stimp, doubling the starting speed should result in quadruple the distance.

Joe, I love your videos and all, and i love my golf sim. But my impression of this is that practicing putting on a simulator is questionable. There is just to much going on with the sim, calibrating, gspro settings etc. An ordinary mat on the floor would be simpler and more accurate, maybe not as much fun but for calibrating your putting more exact.

Yes! I love mine as well. I wish the stimps match up better between GS Pro and exputt they are very very close but not perfect especially on the longer putts. I usually set exputt to stimp 12 and GS Pro to stimp 13 and the exputt 12 is only slightly shorter that GS Pros 13. At least doing this means I won't leave putts short! Famous last words 😂😂
