I love how you have extra books. I just found your channel. We homeschool our children. Have you ever heard of Benjamin Banneker? He was a free black man during our founding days. He’s an amazing man. He helped survey the new capital city, Washington DC in the 1770s. I was never taught about him in school, but my kids are. I love homeschooling because you can teach on all races and history and such. Love your channel

Do you use the pines library? Since you are in Ga, if so make sure you pick up kids crafts weekly and go to the homeschool month fun. We are also in ga and our pines done a homeschool fine arts day once a month among other things. New to channel so apologies if already said!

i’m definitely feeling super overwhelmed myself. first year for my 1st grader.. the curriculum is piling in i have boxes everywhere lol & i’m still trying to figure out how i want to organize. those roller cars are so helpful. i’m going to do one “art cart” with all art supplies… and maybe a cube organizer for each subject / curriculum idk 😰

Oh my gosh the marker photo had me laughing out loud. I was sitting with my 2 year old son and he’s usually ok with markers, but something sure looked enticing about the orange that day. It was like I was watching in slow motion…he just drew it on like clown lips. 🤣🤣

I just graduated my oldest which was homeschooled/unschooled for the last 6 years. I’m now homeschooling my 5 year old and I love coming to your channel to see what your homeschool journey is like. The skin tone markers I high do not recommend because I’ve had so many boxes and they dry out way to fast.

I am so sorry my intentions of this video was not to make anyone feel overwhelmed. You can definitely do it as a working from home mom! I love gathering all of my supplies for the whole year but it is definitely not necessary. Take it one day at a time you got this. 😊

You would have to check with your state laws first. But most times when someone wants to go to college they can take a GED test or college placement test. But just check with your state education department just to be sure.
