I'm a fourth year sociology PhD student at the University of Michigan. I currently do work on contemporary black/white interracial intimacy in the US. I'm working hard to historically ground my work, so I'd totally be interested in content around what text you are reading and history's engagement with interracial sex/intimacy, etc. I also love the current content! Happy Holidays :)

have you ever used libgen rs to download books for free? it's like sci-hub but you don't need a doi, plus it has pretty much every fictional book, too. It could be useful for the book you mentioned might not have an online copy
@KaelynGraceApple3 жыл бұрын
Luckily, I managed to find the book online! Unfortunately a lot of the books I end up needing are not on libgen :/ but I will be back with my beloved books soon!

If I had backlog history in My graduation and if I score well in my masters and as well as Tofle and GRE there is any chance to get admited a top University in USA with scolarship for doing PhD.pls reply
@KaelynGraceApple3 жыл бұрын
So long as you have a strong academic record, solid test scores, research experience and strong letters of rec, you absolutely have a shot. PhDs in the US are largely funded - though the amount varies per program

It was so helpful to see your work process, have you considered making a video about how you make an outline for your papers?
@KaelynGraceApple3 жыл бұрын
This video shows a small snippet of it! I don't thoroughly outline shorter papers but will definitely make lots of content about how I outlined and planned my thesis/dissertation

Do read the entire books while doing the readings for research paper? if yes then how long does it take? I wish to write research papers related to economics but I am not sure where to start from or how to go about it. I am 1st year under grad student from India. Would be delighted to get your guidance.
@KaelynGraceApple3 жыл бұрын
It honestly depends on the paper and the book, but yes, generally I will read books for papers in their entirety. The amount of time it takes me also depends on the length and how dense the text is!

You are such an inspiration! I’m an undergrad student and will soon be applying for grad school. I have quick questions, how hard is it to make new friends in grad school ? I know grad school can be stressful and I want to know if it feels lonely ?
