Hi! It's really up to you and your timeline. You can take it after step 1 or after step 2ck, as long as you have it ready by the time you're applying for ecfmg certification. Just make sure to check the availability in advance just so you know when and where you can take it.

hi , my english its not good enough especially in speaking and typing so i need to prepare for 3-6 months as the instructor told me , so i got my step 1 and 2 pass in july 2022 so if i get oet test after 6 months i can after that to make my ECFMG certification or there is dead time when i pass USMLE exams 1 &2ck please im so confuse can u answer thanks

It depends on how things will change in the future. If they take away the pathways and bring back the CS, then OET won't be required anymore for instance. But we never know how they'll change things for next year, so no one can say yet.

I don't think it will! As long as you eventually reach the minimum scores in each section in one exam sitting and submit that passing exam, then that should be fine. :)
