Do you know on the app it lets you change exposure and saturation but it doesn’t unfortunately show you what it might look like

Yes, I know you can make some adjustments within the Polaroid Lab app but like you said you can’t see it which is not helpful 😅 I try to make all my edits externally in another app (VSCO) so I can see as close to what it will look like as possible once printed.

Also how do you store your film? Do you really have to refrigerate them?

I don’t go to that extreme 😆 right now I just store them on a shelf but generally the temperature in my home is controlled within the 60 degree Fahrenheit range, so that’s not really going to effect the film much (while extreme heat or cold will).

Does the Polaroid lab work without using the app, like can you press the button with anything laying on top?

No it doesn’t, you need to use the app.

Thank you! This is the Polaroid Lab printer, so not an actual camera but prints Polaroids with your phone.

Would I need a specific Polaroid printer to print on horizontal Polaroids films?

I think you’re referring to the mini Fujifilm instax? Polaroids are and only have ever been this square size. But over the years, other companies like Fujifilm have come out with other film sizes, so you would need to get a different printer and the film that matches.
