Kindly don't take inspiration from above video because you can't buy a house anymore in work permit until you pay 20% Non Resident Speculation Tax (NRST)

You can buy a house even on work permit with some conditions and one is paying the foreign buyer's tax or NRST e.g. 25% in Ontario
