During the start of this new generation I was glad and almost dumbfounded with the upload rate you were delivering. My hopes started to raise higher for a somewhat serious return of the king. Then came this more quiet period with very few uploads and my dreams were crumbling. But here you are qualifying for Nats! You have my respect and admiration for being able to return to the competitive scene after such long "retirement". I myself have never played competitive pokemon and I haven't even owned a pokemon game in several years. Maybe I will get myself a Switch someday for just pokemon and see just how bad I would be. I don't know if there was more competitive news on your twitter, instagram etc. since I follow any social media platforms really half-heartedly. 😅

Hex Flutter has been something I have been looking into as well. Though I was curious about it with Specs and a bulky spread. I have not yet found a way to set it up, as I don't want to use it with Glimm, but Lava Plume spam instead, my idea was to use Lava Plume to boost Tera Dragon Baxcalibur in Trick Room, at times getting bruns on opponents and using Flutter to clean up late Game out of Trick Room.

Living in Japan for the last 4 years, I absolutely love sushi, so I pick my favorite kind of sushi. Of the 6 Tatsugiri available, I like Salmon (shiny Speed Tatsugiri) and Tuna (regular Defense Tatsugiri) the most, so those are the two I pick.

Yes I intentionally had my HP not divisible by 4 so that I could make 4 substitutes (just in case I needed to against something like Chien Pao, or something that was poisoned, etc)

Sooo, since you want extra damage AND multiscale AND flexibility for Dragonite, did you ever try... Muscle Band? o idea if it's any good but it fits all of those requirements, the question si only if it gives you ENOUGH additional damage xD

Just curious, Choice Band Earthquake with no flying or levitating teammates seems like a bad idea. Did that ever come in handy for you?

Yes, occasionally I would lead both Dragonite/Glimmora and go for Tera Grass + Earthquake. But if I didn’t have that one scenario available I would definitely have gone with Stomping Tantrum, because like you said choice locking into EQ with no immunities is super risky.

Pokemon is just getting stale. There's never any real variety in Vgc everyone runs similar to almost exactly the same teams and Gamefreak does nothing to make more Pokemon viable

I completely agree. My dream is that all legendary (including ultra beasts & paradox. Which are just other names for legendary) would be banned from earning CP & only allowed in casual battles. I know this will never happen. I personally won't use ANY legendary mons as I feel they are all OP and greatly reduce variety and creativity in team building. This puts me at a huge disadvantage when playing vgc. So I won't do it anymore. I only play casual or in the battle tower. Which we are currently without in gen 9. 😞

​@@MACK_MONEY all legendary aren't inherently broken though. I would be more impressed if you win with articuno, slither wing or the Regis than kingambit and dondozo. It's game freak balance moment when they can't balance the mons properly. I won't in sult you if you prefer it this way, but sticking to casuals mindset while talking about competitive is not a good way to do it at least. Sorry if I'm being rude, but I've seen so much casuals who have been so adamant of their wrong takes.
