Fun fact! Solemn Tempest is, in fact, not 7.5km tall. Shock horror, I know. Basically, the Barometer, the item used to gauge height and find items, works slightly different in the Northern Range. Basically, 1m in the Great Gales is equivalent to 3.2m in the Northern Range. That's why you suddenly have 40m ropes and can jump about 20m into the air. This puts Solemn Tempest's *actual* height at about 2.8km. Not very comforting, since all the horizontal climbing and technical challenges makes up a good chunk of the difference.
@adamnielson42Күн бұрын
I think it's more likely that the character got so swole from all the mountain climbing that he is now 3.2 times bigger and got bigger equipment to match

You’re right but not completely. Solemn Tempest’s multiplier is indeed somewhere just north of 3 to 1, but Great Bulwarks is closer to 2.5 to 1. The barometer’s BASE multiplier is something like 1.17 to 1, so there isn’t a *pure* Meter anywhere in the game.
