Great info here, saved for future reference I'm familiar with some of the info but a lot has changed in terms of the gear necessary to record well these days. I was using Audacity back when I was dabbling via TikTok plus another DAW style studio recording app for Android phones which worked pretty well but I need more "vocal" practice to elevate the overall quality of the recordings hence decided to focus my attention elsewhere in the area of the arts as mentioned but it was super fun, I might consider dabbling again some day if I can improve in a few areas first, you have a beautiful voice, nice control and lovely tone.

i've held blankets over me before thing is... when the blanket touches the mic.. you can def. hear that... so a sweater is good.. BUT even better is one of those eyeball soundproofing things you can put directly over the mic. I got one for under 20.

One of the best songs to sing for me is the song unholy specifically the bit that goes "daddy don't know mummy's gettin hot" and practice the breathing Suck your stomach and belly into Ur spine and bring your chest up and sing with the breaths
