First time viewer here. I don’t know if you ever record yourself lashing while using your macro lens, but if you ever do, can you please do a video showing how you do it with the lens? I just got mine to work properly and now I’m struggling with how to film while lashing with it, since it needs to be so close. I know it can be done, I’ve seen countless videos on TikTok, but nobody ever answers me when I ask how they prop their phone up to record with it needing to be so close.

Hi! I never really use an additional lense, just the iPhone camera. I don't set up the phone itself too close to the eyes, because it can make it difficult to lash. What I do is set up the camera as you see in this video a little further up so it doesn't bother me from lashing. I also check and make sure my head doesn't get in the frame as I'm lashing. I then choose the 2.5x magnification and that automatically zooms in for me. I hope that helps!

Hey! I would set up the tripod on a table and since it's adjustable, I would make the arm bend closer to the table. You may have to test out the best position for a close up shot that doesn't affect your view, but it is doable!

What program do you use to edit your videos yegi ?

Hey! We use Adobe Premiere Pro for our videos, but other great options are iMovie if you have a Mac or Perfect Video, which is an app that should be available for all smartphones.

How do you not just see hands in your videos? I tried this and all I can see while working are my hands mostly 😭

I would recommend playing around with the angle of the camera until you find that sweet spot where you can see the eyelids. Sometimes changing the side from where you're recording helps too
