midi you got it down! A thing I could not master in 30 years ... I have been eying the MPC live, but I am not sure if it is able to improve my style of live play ... I am a noob ...

Well, I’ve been using the MPC Live since it first came out in 2016. I would recommend getting one used and installing a SSD in it. If you have questions about how to integrate it with other gear, hit me up and I’ll do what I can to help you out.
