I have tried using those products in many forms and they will still melt in shipping. So I only do body butter in the winter. Body butter cream is definitely shippable.

I’m just getting started, been watching a lot of videos here and there and decided not to do any butter body biz in the summer only in winter .. Illinois Texas California and Atlanta are probably the worst , I’m trying to get this formulation deal together , not trying to copy anyone else’s deals just trying to get an idea and creativity

i actually use candelilla wax in the summer in australia as it doesn't melt like beeswax

have to heat the shea slowly. its known for doing that if heated to quick.

I don’t heat my Shea butter. I put it in my mixer and then start adding oils. I let it whip about 45-60 minutes.

bees wax is just wax not honey unless you get it from a bee keeper even then it is not a problem and coco butter is chocolate it is the base for chocolate it is a by product from coca beans.

I want to make body milk. Oil and water. I put cetyl alcohol, olives and beeswax and the emulsion did not pass. Water and oil separated? Why? Can it be fixed? Thank you very much for your reply

Did the butter with the beeswax hold up in the heat after a while i live in the Caribbean

I left it in the sun for about 6 hours and it did not melt at all with the beeswax. But always remember even if your butter melts you can always put the body butter in the refrigerator or let it sit out for 30 minutes to regain that solidification. You don’t lose the great benefits a body butter offer even if it melts. 🤗✨

hey quick question how was your results after 24 hours? also how does the cocoa butter hold with fragrance because of it having such a strong smell does it cnflict with the fragrance of choice?thanks new sub!!!

The body butter did melt after 24 hours of sitting in the car. Which is expected because butters will melt. But the goal is to slow down that melting process. Always remember even if the body butter melts you can always refrigerate the butter or let it sit out for 30 minutes. You won’t lose the beneficial properties of the butter….The coco butter scent is always present in my experience. So I use it on specific butters that I want the coco butter scent. Other than that I use Shea or Kokum Butter as my main ingredients because they are unscented which gives me more control over the scent of the body butter. Kokum Butter is a plant based oil that comes from a seed of a kokum tree. It’s an amazing moisturizing butter✨✨✨.
