actually, there may be a good reason for you not seeing results from minoxodil, I am pressure sure a % of the population don't have the necessary enzimes to process the topical variant, but you can use oral, because the liver can process it just fine in place of the enzimes. I regrew my hair from a Norwood 4. I got a prescription for Dutasteride and used it to make a topical solution. I took 100 ml of minoxidil and added in 20 mg of the Dutasteride and applied that twice a day. I then took Saw Palmetto, Nettle root, and Pygeum root daily, and orally took one 5 mg tablet of Dutasteride a week. I would also use the Derminator to micro needle my scalp once a week at 1.5 mm.

I use the derma pen on my face and then change the setting to 1.5 and use it on my hair. Then, after soaking the cartridge in alcohol I use it again the next time. After two treatments I change the cartridge. So far, after three years, I have not had any problems.

Minoxidil should be used daily, derma roller once every one to two weeks, shampoo 2x per week, and doesn't really matter when you apply minoxidil
