So many of you guys mentioned that you liked the look of my hairless and white arm pits and as weird as that sounds you inspired me to make a video! Why not :) I hope you enjoy this hair removal story where I used laser hair removal to keep my armpits permanently hairless. This really beats waxing at home, shaving and hair removal cream in the long run. It feels like zaps :) a bit painful!

miamo 1014 oh my gosh really?? I’ve never ever found someone who also wasn’t allowed to shave and was bullied like me! I’m sorry you went through the same thing. It’s awful and kids are so mean. They’ll find anything at all the give them a “reason” to bully others. I just entered my 20s very recently and I’m still bullied. I guess I’m an easy target because I’m quiet and kinda shy and don’t stick up for myself. I’ve never had self confidence and I still don’t. I’m quite the opposite of someone with high self confidence because I have self hate.

Hey guys for everyone who gets those back little annoying stubs here's a tip. Instead of just taking your razor and shaving in one direction do every single direction. Sideways, up, and down. This little tip worked for me so hopefully it will work for you!!! Comment and tell me how it went!!!

I did laser hair removal for my under arms too. I am a dark brunette, and while I am not too hairy, about average, I got tired of shaving my underarms often. I really hated it during the heat, so I decided to get that done and I paid a little money every month for a little while and it was so worth it. It has been years and I occasionally have a stay hair that grows and I will just shave it every few months after looking.

Laser hair removal works great on under arms because under arms aren't exposed to lights that much. The body parts that are exposed to more lights tend to have hairs grow back faster. You will need around 5 to 10 or more treatments and all depends on people.

Don't shave your arms. Arm hair don't get long quickly, so you can use wax or epilator once or twice a month.

It's nice to know laser hair removal worked for someone! About 2 years ago I started a course on my underarms. I was told 10-12 sessions, wasn't guarenteed results but as I had dark hairs the outlook was good. 10 sessions in the hair growth had lessened, but no where near gone. I was still shaving every few days even though I had religiously stuck to my appointments for 10 months. By session 12, I'd had enough. The beautitican tried to get me to buy into another bulk of sessions saying I could use half on my underarms then start a new area (and have to keep going back for another year?! Ummmmm). I declined, and 1 month later ALL the hair came back. Literally, it was as if I had never had anything done. £600+ down the drain for nothing. So if you're going to do laser hair removal, make sure you can afford to lose that money. I have not benefited in any way from 12 months worth of treatment and spent A LOT of money on it. However, as you can see, it does work for some people! Just my story :)

If you really are 13 then I don't think that that is very appropriate. Laser hair removal only works on darker hair. If you have blond or red hair, it doesn't work. Why, cruel world, why? Why finally coming up with a product that would work perfectly for hair removal without all the itching and pain, but only for people with darker hair?! Nuela Khachik It was a joke as a reaction to the "cool" comment. If someone find him/herself cooler than you, than by definition, you are hotter than them ;). I have copper-red hair, and I am extremely sensitive to temperature. I get hot and cold very easily, but then again, that's what people with red hair are known for. More sensitive to temperature and pain.

I lasered mine after years of waxing and I found that it was the best thing. I finished my sessions, and just bits of hair would grow every 6 months or so and I get top up once a year. After trying waxing, shaving, epilation and removal creams, I think laser is the most effective. I have fine black hair so it was effective, but I heard it does not work as well on blondes and light coloured hair. Dark hair and light skin seems to be the most suitable.

Yes you can get it but only with newer lasers that are specifically built to target lighter hairs like Alexandrite (Cynosure), so it would be best to go to a bigger reputable clinic than a small one as it would have more than one type of laser. Also, there is a product called Meladine, which is a spray to temporarily increase the melanin in hair but I'm not sure about the success rate.

I suffer from PCOS and therefore have a lot of hairgrowth. It makes me feel so uncomfortable and unattractive. I've been thinking of getting laser hair removal but I've been torn on it since some people say it works and other says it doesn't, plus that it's painful. I think I'd like to give it a shot though. Removing so much hair all the time is so frustrating.

Laser hair removal is the bomb. In the long run it's cheaper than buyng razors and shaving cream and all that and it's SO care free being so hairless! I got my whole body (and I mean /everything/) for about $3000. Call dermatologist offices and waxing places and get consultations to see what their prices are. AND make sure they're using the right laser. Some places use lasers that aren't actually meant for hair removal and they'll use ultrasound gel because they have to protect your skin from being burned. That is NOT the laser you should be using. You definitely want to ask which laser they're using and what it looks like!

Unfortunately there is still a social stigma on the issue which can lead to being embarrased even though there SHOULD be nothing to be embarrased about :( I personally feel more comfortable with no hair just bc i don't feel as sweaty/smelly as i would with the hair, but that's just me. I think it's totally ok to be hairy as well.

Omg the first time I waxed by myself the same thing happened! But what you have to do is this: 1. Wash your armpit 2.Rub it hard with a towel to get the hair to do this thing 3.Find which way your hairs are growing 4.Put the strip on then pull it the opposite way the hairs are growing 5.Put coconut oil on your armpits to help get the wax off and heal the skin
