I’m on Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada, and I just did the switch over too. Our temperature today will get to 13 C with light rain. It can go down to 0 C in the heart of winter for a few hours or a day, but mostly it will rain until Spring. Many people, like my husband wear shorts and tee shirts year round. My switchover means putting away sun dresses and sandals and pulling out light sweaters, pants, and boots to go under rain coats. I have four rain jackets and four pairs of boots for various level of rain.😊

I can seriously get behind the concept of the clothes in your closet being ready to go. I put my favourite linen shirt in totally wrinkled this summer after a wash and guess what? I didn't wear it for a whole month. The same is true for my sweaters that need a de-pill. Getting them ready to wear in advance is the only way I will reach for them in the morning to get dressed.

I just reset mine yesterday. Phew what a big job. Oddly enough I realized I have more spring/summer clothes verses fall & winter. When in winter here in Canada is long and you need more layers, so I found that odd. 🤨 lol I do wear a lot of dresses so I suppose on hangers that could be the reason!! We had such an oddly mild and late winter last year (no snow on Christmas) which had not happened since 1997!! So I kept all my long skirts out and short sleeved cardigans. I pretty much only put away my shorts, linens, and summer dresses I suppose.

barefoot shoesss. mine are from Lems, not the cutest and not the most high-quality, but they do the job comfortably. I will say I have tried many of Vivobarefoot's shoes mAny times and never could find them comfortable for me. Vivo are very cool looking and high-quality but they have very low profile hight in the main foot space so there's not a lot of room for adding anymore cushioning without maybe bumping my toes on the 'ceiling'. and some other uncomfortable little aspects about them for me personally i guess, but a lot of people seem to like them. they are in UK i think tho, but made there in Europe i believe. i so wish i could find some Vivos that worked for me, they r super cool

@Smidgeon-pigeon2 ай бұрын
It's definitely one of those things that's just normal for me, having lived in four-season climates most of my life. It's simply not practical to wear my heavy wool sweaters and blazers and under-layers in the summer! But they're absolutely necessary in the winter when the interior temperatures in my home and office are 15-20°F lower. That said, i think Christina swaps out a lot more stuff than the average person. E.g. I wear all of my button-downs and pants year round. The only things I swap out for the season are heavier wool items, shorts, seasonal shoes (like sandals and snow boots), and some of my long-sleeve t-shirts--things that are impractical in either summer or winter. But I probably have 1/3 to 1/2 as many clothes as she does, so I rewear them more.
