Great job!! The parts and twist are crisp! Locs are the majority of what I do in my salon. I also use Natural Adonis products for conditioning and maintenance. My clients love it and the products help with the health of the scalp and locs. Keep up the great work! Remember 3+ weeks is best for retwist as it causes less stress on the hair which could lead to hair loss/alopecia.

What shampoo and conditioner do you recommend for washing locs? And after it is washed, what can I spray on the hair to keep it wet and not dry? And what type of oil?

I use suave naturals the green bottle currently, but I recommend that you use your favorite shampoo and conditioner. I may be switching to design essentials soon. Just spray water to resaturate it if needed. I use wild growth oil or argon oil.

Did you use a lot of the product? I do think the hooded dryer can help with that, but it is a thicker gel. In the summer, we tend to air dry but I do think 20 min with the hooded dryer may help, just add your favorite oil to your scalp, if it feels dry after that.

Which cream? Do you mean the gel. If so, it helps hold the locs in place as you retwist the new growth.

My recommendation is to let it air dry for at least 4 hours so they don’t get a cold sleeping with wet hair. The roots will dry fastest. You can blow dry the ends if needed too. In summer and warmer months, air drying is great

I also oil his scalp with wild growth oil and his locs are very long now, but I can’t really speak on using it with braids. I know some braiders like to use it on knotless styles.
