It’s clear you care a lot about these birds, I’m sure they are very grateful! One thing however is birds have very sensitive respiratory systems, things like hairspray, cooking spray, the fumes from Teflon pans, cigarette smoke and even perfume can make your bird extremely sick or kill them. Even if it’s in another room, cigarette smoke or weed can hurt your birds. I hope you’re only smoking outside and not in your home. Your birds look very happy and healthy though!

my bird was sick 3-2 days back when she started pooping green poo, we bought medicine outside because we werent having enough money for treatment for her. we tried to treat her the best we can but today i just got out of shower when my mom was just petting her on her head. she told me to put the medicine in the kitchen and then thats when she found out she was petting her body but not her soul..i cried alot and i just couldnt get over it because its not even a year and she's gone already, i couldnt cope it because tomorrow is my birthday already

My cockatiel has poisoning from plants. He vomitted n became lethargic. The activated charcoal helped him survive the ordeal. Must moderate the amount according to their body weight. Feeding too much charcoal can become another kind of poisoning too

Hi. So recently got 2 young lovebirds. I have had the girl for 3 weeks and the boy for 2. I can carry them around on my shoulder and the girl lets me kiss her like he does to loki. Their names are Lily and Yuri. Okay, so how do you get them used to bath? I know that they can have different preferences and not all like the bowl method, but how do you get them comfortable? Is it just being patient? Also, they still aren't used to getting on my finger yet.

Your bird probably misses her sister as well! Give her time to grieve but make sure that she is still eating and drinking. Once she seems happier (chirping, preening feathers, and moving around) you can start to tame her. Give her treats from your hand, I find that is the best taming method. Just make sure that every time you interact with her it is a good experience. You can also let her out of the cage in a safe room and talk to her in a calming voice. If your parrot bites you again try not to react. There is a chance that she continues to bite because she thinks it's a game. Parrots are very playful and social animals, if she bites you and you flinch or say ow she wont know what she did is bad, she will only see that she got attention for it and she will want more. I know it is hard but you will get through it. Please know that this will not take one day or maybe even a week you just have to be patient. I hope this helps you and your birdie!

I woke up and my lovebird is sick, so I went and bought some activated carbon and was able to get her to drink from the syringe. Now I’m just waiting to see what happens. She still looks tired a fluffed up. I called a few vets and they don’t even see birds😥 I will update this later for health progress .🙏🏻💕🙏🏻

Make sure that she got activated carbon, mine won’t drink if I will not force her a little bit. Just be sure that bird got a proper dose of activated carbon.
