Hi Shlok, Thanks for such an informative session. I have quick doubt- been scoring 235 in offical free mock and in QA (72) but i got 28 wrong and still ended up scoring 72 but in the paid mock i scored 61and my wrong in QA section was 20 only as compared to 28. Could you please tell what's wrong here or at least tell how many wrong ques you had and what was your score. Thanks hoping for a reply.
@shlokbhagwatАй бұрын
In my official mocks i used to get around 73-74 correct out of 108 questions. Here i would recommend you not to look into the scoring algorithm much as it also depends upon the level of difficulty of questions that you got correct or wrong. Hence please don't look how the scores correspond to the number of questions incorrect. Cheers!

Hey, great insight thankyou! I'm hovering around 220 in IMS mocks, my NMAT is on 10th, what should I do in these few days, quite nervous don't know what to expect, sometimes I do silly mistakes and lose marks!
@shlokbhagwatАй бұрын
Silly mistakes are all about mental focus and happen when you do things on auto pilot mode so the best way to avoid that is pay attention to every little detail and keep practicing doing that. You still have a week for your exam and you can sharpen up your weak areas and take at least 4 more mocks to perfect your strategy. All the best!

Thanks for this video! I have few questions- Sometimes in LR section of nmat i feel that long set questions related to arrangements or grouping are easy to solve but very lengthy. In making those sets it takes me 6 to 7 minutes, but atleast 4 questions are there from that set. So should i solve such questions or guess and move forward to do the CR or some other questions which I am pretty comfortable with. But because of doing set questions panic is created at the time of solving ques my accuracy is good at because of less time left.
@shlokbhagwatАй бұрын
Yes definitely. I have addressed this exact thing and more in another one of my videos. kzbin.info/www/bejne/p4enqItprMRol5osi=duEIUfBb-ncCEb79 But to cut the long story short, it always pays off to skip questions you don't like and go to the ones you enjoy.
@ankuroy7208Ай бұрын
Hello, i didn't understand how you eliminated the 3rd option in the 2nd question
@shlokbhagwatАй бұрын
That option is jumping the gun when it comes to the conclusion. And additionally it goes against the premises which is another red flag. Hope this helps
@gourav6184Ай бұрын
hey Shlok I have a doubt...is giving Official mocks for NMAT really helpful or they are on easy side and not a good way to judge pls reply
@shlokbhagwatАй бұрын
The first one is on the easier side. Paid mocks 1 and 2 are at par
@akshat4111Ай бұрын
very less time to do a lot of these resources
@shlokbhagwatАй бұрын
While it might seem like its too late, its better to have an idea of what you're dealing with than to have none at all so despite it looking like it might not help starting so late, the truth is hardwork never goes in vain.

@shlokbhagwatАй бұрын
I’d say the best way is to talk to everyone you meet in english if they are comfortable with it. If you can’t find people that you can converse with in english, speak your mind out If front of a mirror. It is very important to think out loud to hear and improve how you sound.

@shlokbhagwatАй бұрын
Nmims mocks are on the tougher side and the ims algorithm gives less marks so 230+ is definitely achievable
@akshat4111Ай бұрын
@shlokbhagwat but I feel IMS mocks are easy what is your take on this??
@shlokbhagwatАй бұрын

wht is the level of nmat official mock 2 and 3 as per the actual examination is it worth to purchase it?
@shlokbhagwatАй бұрын
Definitely worth it, because it is very close to the nmat exam and only nmat official mocks have the actual exam scoring algorithm which others can only hope to replicate
@H381TdYАй бұрын
@@shlokbhagwat Hey, are you just talking about the adaptive pattern being close or the questions were also similar? Please guide. As my preparation is not top notch, but i am still looking to do the best i can do. My exam is on 7th, so should i buy them?

@@H381TdYThey are the closest to the actual test both in terms of pattern and question difficulty so i'd recommend taking them to perfect your strategy
