How I Sensed God Calling Me to Ministry Pt. 1

Not everyone is called to full-time ministry in the traditional sense but I do believe as disciples Jesus has called all of us to help fulfill HIS ministry by making disciples of all nations. What do you sense God is calling you to do in this season as apart of HIS mission?

God is calling me to a counseling & healing ministry. Especially relating to MH illness (especially in the church). We uplift and encourage & pray for every battle, but for those in the church battling this. It comes with condemnation and attack of faith.

I am still trying to hear God speak. I am Christian (non denominational) and I recently switched churches and I am seeing an improvement in my faith. I am catching myself more before I chose to say or do something. I love to pray though but in order to pray effectively I need to hear God's voice, and my bipolar medication is blocking that. I am in the process of getting off it, but I pray that God equips me to not go into psychosis again and that I get baptized, get more into praying on my own, start a fast finally and so on. I need prayer.

Emily December in the name of Jesus He has predestined you for great works before time even began! He called you by name and He knows you. Matt 7:7! He will reveal to you His perfect will in His perfect timing my sister. Keep pressing in and God does not allow time matter nor space to deter His will for your life. He sends His word forth and it goes out and does what He send it to do producing much fruit. It does not return void nor hit the ground, Father I pray healing in the name of Jesus over my sister Lord. I know You are more than able. Give her bold prayers to pray Father without discouragement no matter what the eyes see, for You Father are able to work through all things for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Just like the story of the cracked pot... the pot felt like it wasn’t reaching its full potential as the other pot that was whole only carrying half the water of what that other pot carried... but the whole time the man that had the stick on his neck carrying both pots on one end was watering flowers with that broken pot! If it wasn’t for that pot and it’s flaw, the table couldn’t be adorned with the beautiful flowers that blossomed because of that pot! Hallelujah. Thank You Jesus for your blessings over my sister Emily! Thank You for Alyssas ministry Father continue to use it all for Your glory honor and praise in Jesus name amen ❤️🙋🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️🔥

@@ED-ie3et remember in Romans 8:28 it says that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. All things is working for your good even the psychosis episodes that you feel is working against you. A few verses down it says nothing shall separate you from the love of God. Not even bipolar. If you need a biblical example read Matthew 8 where Jesus heals the leprous man. Every body was afraid to touch a leper but Jesus reached out and touched him. We serve a God who is not afraid to reach out & touch what scares other people. He not only touches but he heals. Emily God has an amazing future for you just trust in his process remember that through Christ Jesus that you are more than s conqueror. That you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you. I want to leave you with this scripture found in Jeremiah 30:17 KJV For i will restore health unto you, and i will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord: because they called thee an outcast, saying, This is Zion whom no man seeketh after. I love u but most importantly Jesus loves you with an everlasting love!

Crazy because that’s literally how I met my husband. I went on a missions trip to DR and I was on the college campus and on my last day I said “God show me who you want me to talk to!” He said “a guy in a yellow shirt and jeans”. Next thing I know, a guy in a yellow shirt and jeans walks right up to my group...he is now my husband and we just celebrated 2 years of marriage last month. God is amazing

I love this. I’m a sex trafficking survivor and I came to Christ and I felt like I was supposed to work with other victims but I felt led to volunteer with the prison ministry at my church. I signed up and found out I may also be volunteering at halfway houses I’m so excited but I’m so nervous. I feel the Lord is leading me here to lead others to Christ but I have major anxiety and I’m not good at speaking in front of people. I found out last week with prison ministry they use to just use a thumb drive and play the service to the prisoners but now we are going to have to actually teach for an hour instead. I’m so nervous and I’m new to Christ I’m worried what if I freeze up and get major anxiety in front of a crowd . I’m nervous even preparing to speak for an hour and worried if I don’t hear God’s voice when I pray then what do I speak on. I’m so nervous about all this. I’m also a Behavior Tech now and work with autistic kids and I just been feeling not passionate in my career. How do you have a good balance with career/serving?

I jumped so fast ❤, you are beautiful. I was smiling all along, the holy spirit is so amazing l tell you. I sensed that God called me to ministry from a young age but didn't know, l grew up loving to pray and even kn school l was a leader in what we called "scripture union " were we had prayers before classes. 2011 l receive a Prophecy that l should pray about my calling because God wants me in ministry. To cut the long strong short, l stepped into my calling this year and started my channel and l just love talking about Jesus 🙌🙌 😊. It's a whole testimony l will share someday on my channel 🙏🙏

I feel called to ministry as well. I work as a therapist at a middle school so I share the gospel there and just everyday throughout life as I meet people and feel lead. I'm certainly at that point of "Lord I need to serve you, there's no other purpose I can see myself serving"and then the doubt comes in "ho will I make a living ( I'm so used to working and earning). Am I doing enough just being at home and doing videos or just reading the word? This is literally right on time ! And it’s hitting home right now. Like you, I am currently at a job where I’m on a contract. My contract ends in December and God knows I don’t like it here. I know that I’ve been called into ministry (and God knows it’s a big desire of my heart) but I just don’t know when I’m supposed to step out and pursue it. There’s so many ideas and dreams that the Lord has given me but I feel like I’m in a “prepping” stage. It’s so frustrating being here especially when you can literally see visions of the things God wants to do in you and through you 😩😩
