If you’re shooting raw then you can do white balance in editing without losing any quality. You can just leave it on auto to save you some time

I actually set my white balance to save time while editing and to ensure the temperature of my images is consistent. Spending 2 seconds to select my white balance while I’m on the shoot saves my heaps of time while editing 😊👍 that’s just how I choose to do things though. The great thing about photography is we can all develop our own methods that work for us! Thanks for watching 🫶🤝

You're not actually getting more image with 16:9, you're just cropping it. 3:2 uses more of the sensor, 16:9 just shaves off the top and bottom.

That depends. For photo: good, if you want full frame (if you don't need full frame, you should go with the a6xxx line). For video: total garbage, buy one from the a7s series or a7c (a6300/6400/6500/6600/6700 or fx30 for aps-c).

@@43AL_ For the price of an A7 II, you can get an a6300 that has better video capabilities, little higher (.1 stop higher) dynamic range, a more compact body, and a smaller sensor (that means cheaper lenses). I don't know why the viewfinder of the a7 series would be better.

Photos are a little busy and composition isn't that great, editing is fine apart from on the cars themselves, go easy on the processing. Just some tips :)

Just use manual mode with auto ISO, especially with moving cars. I see you're often scrambling to change your settings and missing the shot, while i would have been able to just change my shutter speed a bit in under a second and ready to shoot instantly

@@jorgerodriguezvisual Because the iso wont be a problem in those weather conditions unless you try to go like 1/8000th shutter and f/11 or something along those lines. It makes you a lot faster and so you miss less of these “impulse” shots

If you are shooting in RAW, why bother changing the white balance? The RAW file is not only uncompressed, but it's not "processed" by the camera. So white balance can be changed later if needed with no drawback. If you are shooting indoors on a cloudy day that doesn't mean you should choose the cloudy WB

If you know your light won't change during your shoot, picking a set WB can make the editing process much faster. You only need to grade a single image & apply your settings to every image in the set. You can obviously then tweak if you'd like, but it gives you a good consistent starting point.
