Thank you, I love LotusBlu's work. This journal was a wonderful gift from my parents that I had put aside for a worthy use. I think this project is that use, the book will get lots of love!

Followed you for Instagram and Facebook, I love the paper colours. I’m learning to make my own nature journals with natural products so will really enjoy watching you do these videos. Wish I had your design skills though!

That sounds excellent, our approach has a lot in common. I was quite disappointed when I finished staining all the pages in the journal, it was so relaxing! Design skills come with practice, my first nature journal (2016) doesn't have very nice layouts 😆😁

Really inspiring. I'm hopeless at drawing, but have lots of nature themed rubber stamps that I think I could use and colour with pencils. I also love the idea of making my own book from scratch. I look forward to following your journey

Hi Elaine, glad to have inspired you. You could give that a try, sounds like a great project! By the way, nobody's "hopeless" at drawing, it just takes practice :)

Thank you! Your journal is wonderful. I am wondering how these botanical inks hold out. Will they fade? Will they last? So interesting.

Hello Gisela, thank you for your comment. These should hold out relatively well in a journal away from sunlight, which is the main thing to fade them. A fixative and protective glass is recommended for any for display. I am very interested in journaling process being more important than product and the transient nature of beautiful things, so I am actually quite interested in the idea that this book might fade but the digital versions remain more evergreen. Perhaps. Anyway, this question opens up all kinds of interesting somewhat Buddhist reflections in me whenever anyone asks it. Short answer: they probably will fade and I kind of love that!

That flower press is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen! Does it happen to have a brand name on it somewhere? I need one! 😍😍

No, it's all quite plain and it came from an antiques shop but my friend had one just like it so think they are commonplace(ish) in the UK 😊
