Very interesting. Although I use a worksharp sans the angle guides. Then hand strop with a paddle. I also use a certain number of passes on each belt. Doesn't the stone leave a secondary bevel on the edge though? I use a mix of that same camiella oil and hoppes oil. Different strokes for different folks. Lol. I've tried to do a sharpening video a million times, and failed every tine. Good stuff dude.

You can lay the blade flat on the stone to sharpen the blade, you just have to go through multiple stones to get the polish back. At the angle I hold it at I personally can't feel or see a secondary bevel. It just takes a lot of time, I find it relaxing.

@@gargoylesblade nice on the bps. Hopefully they all make it through ok and get back up and running. Best, sharpest, and most affordable, without sacrificing quality fixed blades I've ever come into contact with. Still some left on Amazon and etsy. My favorite is their "savage" model.
