When you say that the chainsaw "experts" have more of a clue than you do I disagree. It's just that you have different clues. You got your blades sharp so your clue is just as good ! By the way, I just love the view over your shoulder when you were cutting that wood. The kettle ha ginger up ready for use on the rocket stove. A sure sign of a man who knows his priorities. 🍵

It's called a chain not a 'blade'. The cutting is done by what are referred to as teeth or cutters. There is no blade on a chainsaw.
