I recently shaved my head. I got the worst of reactions from one side of the family and it really tested my self confidence. I struggled with it before shaving my head because of a certain someone making me feel not beautiful etc. There’s no one way to do it, but see this as a journey. Sometimes I cry about it and sometimes I’m so happy about it. Investing in yourself really helps and finding that supportive network too! I’ve also found listening to Ted Talks on the subject has really given me a good perspective on the situation. Im so glad I shaved it whether people like it or not because it’s always something I’ve wanted to do and good people do find you. I’ve had so many more compliments from strangers too! But even if I didn’t, what’s most important is that I love it and myself. I hope you struggle less with the matter soon, keep goinggggg x

My hair is currently cut in an asymmetrical cut that's kind of in between a true pixie cut and a chin-length A-line cut. I've been enjoying it at this length, but you're making me want to cut it shorter, because these finger waves are BOMB.
