I love your story man. I am a window cleaner in the Huntsville, AL area. My pitch is this when approaching a business owner or manager/decision maker: "Hello, my name is Sawyer Pannell. I was in the area today cleaning windows, I clean windows and store fronts professionally. I just wanted to check with you and see if you'd be interested in having your windows cleaned for a good price?" 95% they will at least hear out my price and ask "Well, what is a good price?" Even if they have a window cleaner so long as they aren't super, duper busy and have a sec this question makes them very curious as to what your price is. Some want it done, others don't. This "pitch" has by far worked the best for me. I used to do jobs for super cheap, but as I grew I have a minimum of 25$ per job unless the job is super quick and very close to a business that I already do next to them. You are welcome to steal my pitch though and see if it works for you.

For those starting out, Spend $30 on a cheap 1 gallon sprayer and a gallon of 10% chlorinated liquid. Add soft wash to your residentials. Those $300 window jobs turn into $500-$800 jobs instantly, and you'll sell more jobs. My last job was $970 plus a big tip. You can then begin to offer screen repair and blind cleaning as well. Great vid!

One of my strategies is humiliating the customer by boldly announcing their windows are dirty and saying it loud enough so that every customer in their shop hears it. Got a few that way.

There sure is a lot of people out there that found themselves when eviction notice... Just sound like a sales pitch.... Lol. Well I guess I was am a not only a years late and a different dollar short. I've been homeless going on 3. Three years July 2023. Yeah got a pitch which just the business it self shall close the accounts without me saying anything. Homeless with a purpose! But I am going to try to use this not to talk only better my self, but just maybe try to help them to learn a different way of panhandling, give back to the community that has been supporting these same homeless for years... Paying it forward. I can go pretty deep with my detailed plains how to maybe solving homelessness by one window at a time... God willing this will happen and be the answer that the homeless been waiting for...

Hey Keith, I work a full time job right now but I'm really interested in having my owne window cleaning company some day. I am planning to start doing window cleaning on the side and hopefully turn it into a full time business some day to work for myself. Is this a realistic goal, is there really that much money in this industry

Been a window cleaning for 9 years now doing everything from store fronts , residentials , commercial buildings, high rises. We’ve not been aggressive in route window cleaning in the last couple years.. sometimes it feels like you have to hustle soo hard to make any money at it it can be frustrating. But what I can say is We’ve picked up hundreds of residential accounts from people seeing you doing work, many of times these people call back every year atleast once a year. And the payout on residentials are much greater and you don’t feel like you have to run 100 miles an hour to make money. It keeps you relevant. I just wish the 2 man and a bucket crews wouldn’t whore the route market up so bad. They come through throw ridiculous low prices at customers no one can make money at and next season they’re gone. Yet when the customer tries to find another window cleaner they expect the prices to be next to nothing , it’s aggravating. Do all of us a favor and know you’re work is worth more than 5 dollars.
