Hello bhaiya...i'm always confused in one question...that is for example i know the basics of array and i start doing questions on leetcode,after doing a lot of easy level questions then a point comes when I struck in one of the question in same level..this loop continues and i wasn't able to increase my level from easy to medium..then what to do??? It seeems that i will struck in same topic (array,string,or anyother DS .. How to overcome this ??
@SahilAgrawal-0911
@SahilAgrawal-0911 10 ай бұрын
umm, if this is happening that means maybe you are solving the question in a wrong manner. if you do 15-20 easy questions, there is no chance that you won't be able to tackle a medium level problem. give time to medium level problems, don't get frustrated too early. It's a process, it takes time. push yourself !

Hello bhiya, i am now 14 years old, and 6 months ago, i started my coding journey from python and learn basics, after this, In January 2024, I started DSA with C++, i have some doubts like, i can understand most of the theories easily but, i feel so difficult to code this.. If you have any solutions for my problems then Please help me to solve them..
@SahilAgrawal-0911
@SahilAgrawal-0911 9 ай бұрын
so this problem is called implementation problem. You know the solution, but you are not able to implement that which means you are not able to code it down. There is no solution to this except practicing. You need to practice more and more problems, the more you practice, your implementation skills and the power of converting logic to code will increase. try to give contests on codeforces, leetcode. That will help you a lot. Practice is the only key to improve implementation.

Offcampus bhi agar apply karoge to reject ho jaoge agar fir b glti se select hua to sirf Tier 1/2 college aur wo b 99.99% galti se ya contact sehi. And yeah I am not against Sahil, instead I'm proud of him cause my name is also Sahil, but maine actually me dekha hai to top IIT's se hai already passed out aur bade level pe fake influence kiya hai wo b sirf IIT tag k karan. Everything which I have told in this video is absolutely true. I did DSA & CP for exactly 7 months, in which I did solve 1000+ questions among various platforms like LC, GFG, Codeforces, coding ninjas, codechef. I am just sharing the path which I followed, the questions which I did. The only benefit which we get as IITians is that the company comes in the campus, but I think if you are applying off-campus, then also the preparation should remain same, it is just that extra effort of approaching the companies which you need to put in. Even the IITians struggle in getting placements from on-campus companies, because people don't prepare well. I did practice well, so thought I should share with all of you.

now this is a serious problem. I haven't been in this situation, so can't tell you how to handle this. But you will have to take out time somehow. Here in IIT also, we have many classes , IIT life is quite hectic, its on you how you manage your time. spend around 3 hours from 9 PM - 12 PM on weekdays at night to do coding, then you can sleep. Then on weekends, you can spend more time. this seems to be a good solution.

Hello Sahil, My question is that i am from tier 3 but you were from tier 1(im not being salty just stating),i want to ask can i follow it as aa tier 3 student or do i need to make some more efforts as we dont get any companies in our campus
@SahilAgrawal-0911
@SahilAgrawal-0911 10 ай бұрын
Hi, I am glad that you asked this question. Its a fact that students from IIT get an edge over others as we know that companies will surely visit the campus, we just need to prepare. But in tier 3 colleges, I suppose, students need to prepare well , but on top of that, they also have a additional task to reach out to recruiters, which is I think is tiring. I just shared my preparation journey, what I did and all. Definitely you can follow this path for preparation. You will also need to make good projects to stand out from the crowd. and yes, it is a bit difficult for tier 3 students, but not impossible ! you can check out many youtube videos of tier 3 students getting whooping packages ! I hope this helps.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6rdiKuEj515aMk I made a video on this you should have some projects in your resume, otherwise if you only do DSA, what projects will you put in your resume ? personally to me in D E Shaw's interview, only DSA & OOPS questions were asked, resume was not even touched, but this is not the case with most of the companies, so have projects in your resume, for that you need developemnt.

I can't understand the difference between the questions(those 1000 questions you mentioned you were solved) and cp. Are the questions like prime number,amstrong number etc.... Come into cp. Does cp require dsa Please clarify this
@SahilAgrawal-0911
@SahilAgrawal-0911 9 ай бұрын
To start CP , you don't require DSA, you need basic mathematical logic building skills to solve easy CP problems. I have a video on complete CP guide, you can check that out. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bnzOi4yEmJtpq7M these 1000 questions distribution is as follows: 400 while doing CP. I solved 283 questions on Leetcode. 212 questions on geeks for geeks. around 100 on different platforms like coding studio and all. prime number and amstrong number, yes they are basic maths, so you can include them into CP. because CP is all about maths in the beginning , then comes dsa for medium level questions.
