Retired Army-29 years. I now drive for Domino’s Pizza as a Class A CDL. Yes, touch freight, but making $3,000 a week consistently. I truly enjoy your videos…thanks for putting them together.

That’s cool, but do you get free pizza 👍🏻😀🍕

I just started with Prime last month. The speed is troublesome. In less than a month, there have been a couple of times that other drivers have attempted to run me off the road. I only assume it’s because I'm driving as slow as molasses in wintertime, but I can't verify that. On my settlement last week, I had just below $2K in fuel expenses, so I have slowed my ass down even more. I can't entirely agree with the way the reefer fuel works here at Prime, and it makes me hotter than a $2 pistol, the amount of fuel and money I put into that thing. I’m headed to Wisconsin from Fort Myers, FL, and my reefer is set at 55° on continuous, and it's eating me alive inside lol. I think this load wasn't very beneficial financially, but I am trying to accept everything for at least the first month to get at least a monthly overview of everything and see what is working and not working. With the amount of time and experience you spent here at Prime, do you have any advice or tips on being more successful and reap the benefits during my time here? The in-house folks don't seem to be very pleasant, honestly lol.

@Peterbilt_289 i would but the market is bad I don’t think other drivers make money like that

I've noticed this week once again lots of open spots late in the evening at truckstops especially through Indiana and Kentucky....

Lot of trucks leaving the market so Im not surprised.

Trucker Path tells you the number of spaces for truck parking. I’m betting you, with your wordsmithing ability could help improve the reviews. Glad you stayed with the career.

I'm preparing to leave Prime myself. I was a tnt trainer. I had something really crazy happen with a trainee that should have gotten him fired, along with another situation where they narrowly avoided a lawsuit. Can't wait to leave so I can finally vent about what happened during my 5 years at prime. Prime is not the same company now vs when I started. It's gotten soo bad.

I recently bought a truck from Pedigree while on home time drove it home then went back to Pittston and turned 3:34 my lease in and returned keys….. Peace Prime!!!!!

@@divinejustus7what’s the average mileage would you recommend from them ?
@user-FTRU6GJАй бұрын
@@topdoochannel6609none of them. Prime trucks are dogged out. They are pure fuel economy spec trucks so they are spec with the lowest horsepower/torque numbers and low gear ratios you can get from the factory. The trucks have a lot of wear and tear and the engine is stressed out because the way prime gets their trucks, stay away from them.
@divinejustus7Ай бұрын
@@topdoochannel6609 I didn’t want anything over 400,000…. So I bought a 2021 375,000 miles. I did 70-75 all the way back to Jersey from Missouri….

Hey Tim! I enjoy your videos and commentary. What is the company you are with right now. I’m new with the industry and looking for a good company to work for. I am in school and doing my research on companies as we speak. Prime Inc is not a company I’m looking at heard to many issue with them from season drivers and rookies. 3 companies that I am looking at are TMC,Maverick transportation and Bison Transport. Heard a lot of good things about these companies and heard a few bad things too. But would like to know where you’re at now. And see if it would be a good fit. I’m interested in reefer or flatbed. Thanks Tim have a great safe run!
@philosophicaltrucker9279Ай бұрын
IMO Melton is better than TMC and Maverick for a flatbed starter company. Idk much about bison

Cat piss is hard to get rid off. I think the best MPG on the Pete is best at 70 mph. Let us know what numbers you get at higher speeds. Great history lesson today! Thanks

The problem with pets is more about what kind of damage they do when their owner is away from the truck. Some pets get separation anxiety and will do all kinds of mischief when left to their own devices.

Terry, 50 gallon tanks are usually on inteermofdal trailers.
@timtravels116Ай бұрын
Yep.
@supertrucker961Ай бұрын
Actually 50 gallon tanks are standard. 100 gallons are used for intermodal. Prime does the small tanks to haul more freight for the same amount. That's why they have coffin box trucks. Start paying attention to other reefer trailers outside of prime

Who's tim if your name is Terry? I thought I heard you say your name is Terry. What razor do u use to shave your head and how often do u shave? I struggle with having a decent razor. Driving faster is much better vs prime speed. No offense but that's way to slow when some places are 75+ mph
@timtravels116Ай бұрын
I just use a regular face electric razor every few days. But I never use it on my face.

I don't get these people who think you should do things for free like training or teaching and if you happen to get paid, well it means you're not genuinely into it....... people are funny these days when they comment how they think you should conduct your life or whatever but they wouldn't actually do it themselves...
