HOW I START EVERY NEW CHARACTER -BEGINNERS PC GUIDE- LEVEL BOOST | Conan Exiles |

This is a beginners guide for PC.
How I start every new character off in the exiled lands. I will be explaining in detail what I do and why, whats good to start of in basic detail.
This should get you to about level 20 from lvl 1 in about 30 minutes of gameplay or an hour for the less experienced. (If on a server with a higher xp multiplayer you may get to an even higher level)
It will also get you plenty of nice recipes for later on in game and plenty of emotes + religious teachings.

If you hang around the coast line starting from the shatered bridge near the dregs there are named mini bosses that drop flawless encumberance gear. Very easy to kill and drop 1-3 pieces of gear

Where exactly? I've went back and forth between my camp that I built right next to the Shattered Bridge and looted Skulker's End camp numerous times for supplies but haven't come across these mini bosses when traveling back and forth. Are they random or only in newer builds of the game possibly? I'm still playing an older version of the game that doesn't even have pets in it solo wise.

I started playing 2 weeks ago and just hit level 40 at 90 hours. Originally I ran straight to Sepermeru and built a base on the edge of the city so I missed a lot of those places you visited. Thanks for the tips!

KiahOnFire I wish you had included the water skin, I still find people who don't know about it. I also climb the first green talking stone, then kick and dodge for the easy journey steps. I also enter the dregs for the blue glowing torch. The only underwater burning, and durability upgradeable to last 50 minutes torch. I didn't know your safe path through the unnamed city, thank you so much for that. But the rest of it is my exact path. There are two underwater chests, but that should be it's own video. Great video, keep up the good work and have fun.

Here is a few things I want to add. In general, I always explore and do journey steps. Bases of other players that are not closed off are a great way to get a few steps done (like use a well and altar, since they are quite often open). Then as a main strategy I do two different things. Either I go to Sepermeru and run a lap around the city. There are a number of chests around there that will get you a decent set of midlevel armor, weapons and things like orbs and potions to get some journey steps. The other way is make my way east to the jungle. There do a few laps around the shipwrecks to loot the chests for gold coins. You want to get 100 coins, then make your way to the pirate bay and buy you a fighter slave (the highest tent on the land part, just climb up from the back). With the slave, you can enter much higher level areas and let him do the fighting for xp.

@@KiahOnFireOfficial If you really want to use the fighter thrall, cook a whole lot of gruel for him (for healing, the added strength and likelyhood of leveling strength), raid a few darfari camps so he gets a darfari (+strenght) outfit. Level him up in the unnamed city killing skeletons and once he is level 10ish, go up to the mounds of the dead. There raid the settlement for the flawless heavy cimerian outfit (+vitality) and hopefully a starmetal weapon for him, and then go hunt some of the wrights around there or go to the black keep and hunt the skeletons. Both give tons of xp for both you and the thrall, although he will cap on level 20 offcoarse, which will happen fast.

@@KiahOnFireOfficial One more note, I keep hearing you say, also in different videos, that grabbing emotes and learning recipes is good xp. As far as I'm aware, they don't, at least not on PS4. Xp is given by journeysteps, killing, discovering points of interest, crafting, harvesting and surviving. More or less in that order from most to least.

There's an Easter Egg in the area of The Den - there's a big Bronze door between The Den and where you found the Child of Jhebbel Sag... it has 4 levers, 2 on each side, and is referred to as the Levers Door - Neebs is the inspiration for it... Some where close by, I can't remember exactly, is a chest that can possibly spawn several items, including the Reinforced Steel Truncheon I mentioned on your recent How to Tame a Thrall vid and several Legendary weapons like Shark Bite or Hammer of the Whale and other goodies... approach the door and you'll enter in to some dialogue which ask you to pull the levers... it's pretty chuckle-worthy!

Next to the den there is a closed of gate with levers next to them with some funny interaction, more important are the two chests one gives gold silver the other gives randomn stuff with a chance of legendary or epic weapons, thought I'd add this in since it didn't exist yet when the video was made,

Try going to the dregs and kill the slug, easy kill at low level, good xp and good early healing with abysmal flesh.

I know this is pretty standard, but I find the remnant so difficult to kill! I always kill it around lvl 30, before than that I'm dying too much to it.

@@rodrigo2703 There's a small technique to it, one of those is having a nice supply of shields so his spit attack hits the shield instead and baiting him round in a circle until the dreg goes in and falls over

But it takes such a long time with iron daggers. Like, 30 minutes. Unless I'm doing something wrong, because it seems like it takes too long to lunge at me.

@@rodrigo2703 I will circle it with a shield and it will probably go down every 30 seconds too a minute. But be careful not too get to close because it's bite attack is nasty xD and to regen your stamina

Nice little guide. I am planning on helping a friend power level up to about level 40 by doing an exploration route. I'll probably use this, but stay up north and grab the discoveries for New Asgard and some of the other Points of Interest up there, then head back south via the cave near the Shattered Basin. Likely I will run him into the jungle, also to get the obelisks and PoIs out there. The server I play on gives bonus XP. so this should level him up a fair way.

it does look quite fun to start with, sadly, i'm a crafter/hoarder/builder type of player. if i come across something, i tend to hoard the stuff. i'd definitely die on this journey too much because of over encumbrance along with the itch to build a small house for safety

Oh yes, those obelisk location really helped. I've always have a turn off from ridding from 1 place to another. You ran into the Hyena's den at low level and head up north? Haha! I can't do that because I tend to grab as much stuffs as possible like a hoarder.

Very diffrent for me on full pvp spawn in run noob River farm farm farm get starter. Base going farm farm farm kill npc and animals close get iron ore cook farm some more get daggers farm some more let all those cook take a bed role to south jungle and level up killing gorilla's and birds in south jungle get around 5 10 to 15 levels there takes me about hour to hour and half go back get a pen going tame a schale bak going while wait farm and kill npc on noob River some more after done move everything up to the highlands get a second base going not far from the iron ore heaven farm till you bleed make sure you get level 60 get some lotus potion and incumbece build farm farm farm tame a elephant get some snow gear move make a main base up snow near volcano and then farm for raiding all done in a day and half for me depending how fast I do things

The Set and Mitra religions give two very important recipes 10 levels sooner than you get them with out religions. The sand storm mask and well are typically level 30+, but with these religions you can make them at level 20. I start collecting thralls at level 15, so I'm ready at 20.
