I love hearing about other's vtuber creation journeys because I had pretty much the same realization - I want art that moves and is PRETTY- and then it was time to make a model. ive seen vtubers here and there but NEVER like this are you kidding me?? the way you’re able to improve through every new project blows me away. towards the end with that showcase of commissions, i couldn’t believe how rigged up these bad boys are! they are so unbelievably lively and i had no idea vtubers could be this animated. the limits here are endless and you’re certainly pushing it! amazing, amazing job

I saw one video of rigger explaining that it’s not really the rigging of the model’s fault it doesn’t look lively, but usually vtubers who don’t use them to their full potential 😅 and showed the difference and it made so much sense lol

The way you can model nonhuman/anime features is mind blowing; that accurate angel actually stunned me along with the multiple eyed character. Not many vtuber artists, not knocking their styles or abilities they are wonderful in their own ways, could even fathom designing something out of the mainstream. (I've done some small rigging on free and was going to do a proper big rig with the trial this months but .. I still dont have the art close to ready 😣)

Their 42 day free trial really helped me in deciding whether to commit or not! I was also in uni back then so I got their discount and a 3 year plan was around 40usd I think, it was a real good deal👍👍When I come out with the tutorial I'm gonna offer the model psd for free if that helps!

The part I'm procrastinating on for mine is that I want to have fins with physics on the sides of the legs .. and those already having physics for floaty reasons .. one way to figure it out I guess 😅

@@wednes3day I'm glad to help! Ahh i get the perfectionism procrastination, however you can always import new layers as psd into your working live2d file later on, so you can already start rigging with what you have and see how you feel about it!

I have seen vtubers since they ever appeared on the internet. But because at that time i had very bad low self esteem lots of project and new hobbies, which i could have considered back then already, I took as "way to complicated for someone like me". Last 3 years were a game changer for me - coming out of artblock and loving and respecting myself like never before and i tried many new things, like ceramics, surfing, ect. I never thought about trying live 2d, but i was dreaming about starting learning animation finally at some point.
