Hi I am following this tutorial and found it most helpful so far, however my vtuber does not have a thing covering the neck so when I try to do the neck turn the line connecting to the shoulder moves so it looks weird asf lmao is there a way I can edit the vertices the little dots that connect so that I only turn the neck above not at the collar bone? thanks!

I may have done this tutorial series kind of backwards, I drew my own model based on the layers of Poopoo (who is adorable btw <3 ) using my own character and adding extra layers and pieces where I think I'd need them and then went back to the start and began rigging with my own drawn model. I've learned so much from these videos and they are nice and simple even though I can be a bit slow at learning and keep having to backstep in the tutorial because I missed something >.< I've been loving it though and while my own rig is a little bit janky, I'm looking forward to trying it out fully on a stream. Thank you so so much Wufeii <3

I hope you know how invaluable this is. I followed your tutorial and made my first model using it and even though it's not perfect, it ended up far far better than I was expecting thanks to being able to follow all the steps here. Having my own unique model that I made myself from scratch is amazing! Thank you so so much!

I'm rigging a model i got commissioned and following your guide has been a tremendous help so far. The model's almost 1600 layers so I definitely felt a bit overwhelmed at first but it's been a couple of days and I'm at the back hair segment of the head X adjustments so I think I'm doing alright. I can't thank you enough for producing this tutorial!

oml 1600 layers?!? I could only imagine the time it takes to rig that. Good luck on your commission!!

Note to self; if a parent warp deformer has a child warp deformer, move the child deformers before the parent to avoid messing up the animations For example; The Rotation deformer has warp deformers under it, on a secondary hierarchy. Some of the warp deformers will be parent ones. Move the child warp deformers of those parent ones above the Rotaion deformer FIRST, then move those parent deformers after so it can organize them correctly. When you move the deformers, check the physics and animation for each deformer movement to ensure nothing changes Or you can drag the warp child deformers just outside the original parent, assets abover those, not over Head Z, so that way you can select the CHILD ASSETS of HEAD Z, then put everything back in its place after making the face deformer

One of the most beautiful and innovative models I have ever seen. I am so inspired by not only your creative solutions to problems in L2D (special highlight on the Y and Z axis during a 90⁰ head rotation) but also your artwork! You have a wonderful semi-realistic painting style, yet still feels very closely inspired by anime. Which, to me, creates a very unique and memorable viewing experience!
