I grew up skating in the Midwest with a huge local scene getting flowed all the most hyped SB dunks in the pink box era so I got into all that too early on, and yea now these days if I'm buying quality footwear this is where we land

Great video man. Very similar stories from growing up in Southern California and being into sneakers and street wear to graduating from college and switching up styles to fit your age and lifestyle. Hope you keep the channel going. I live in Colorado now and just feel like it’s a place for boots and Americana/heritage style. FBT was also my first Visvim piece. It was the Red Deer version in brown from END clothing. Still have them to this day and bought more FBTs. Still looking to buy a pair in sand. I just picked up a pair of Brigadiers in sand. I think it’s Visvims best color in suede. Also have a pair of TWO boots in sand lol.

I used to live in London and between 2006-2008 I was obsessed with Bathing Ape, Ice cream and Billionaire boys club. Bape had a store on Upper james street in Soho and beside them was a store called the hideout store that stocked more obscure brands like WTAPS, KAWS, Neighborhood, ATMOS - that was my first contact with visvim. You're 100% correct, didnt buy my first visvim piece until 2014 when Kanye wore FBT's everywhere- bought a pair of FBT corduroys and never looked back.
