For the strafe practice, I do the drill Woohoojin told players like me to get to gold. 1. Go to range 2. Pick Cypher 3. Put trips on the wooden pillar on the right of the bot firing area 4. Put on a 100bpm video 5. Try and follow the beats while strafing, stopping and then shooting. Remember to minimize the blue line as much as possible while retaining accuracy while strafing and shooting. I do this for around 5-10 mins everytime. It taught me to not rush my shots because the muscle memory takes over (I do it a lot)

That same thing happened to me. I reached Ascendant 2 but then started dropping down until I got to Diamond 1 and almost Platinum. I couldn’t understand what was happening until I started watching my old clips and noticed that my playstyle had changed drastically. I think that when I reached Ascendant 2, I felt confident enough and started playing worse. I want to encourage everyone going through this situation-right now, I’m in Immortal 3, and I still have a lot to learn. Stay strong, guys, you can do it!

The problem with strafing in lower elo is their aim is off (delayed tracking), and you end up strafing back into an insta headshot. Most of these movement mechanics ironically only work on people with good aim. Someone with perfect crosshair placement often dies to a crouch spray in higher elo, whereas in lower elo a crouch spray gets someone insta dinked because they're aiming at the floor. I've noticed playing through gold-plat I had to intentionally not do either. Standing completely still when shooting gave me better results.

I feel this is cope, no hate I am in lower elo and your right but if your consistent I can bet you their aim being off would only happen a few times while the rest they are dead
@Ribcut25 күн бұрын
@@UrFada I'm not the biggest fan of people throwing around the word cope when it doesn't apply. I'm able to consistently win gunfights in lower elo by standing still after the counter strafe. That's the exact opposite of cope, but rather just making a logical observation. In Dia-Asc, I've noticed tap strafing throws people off because their crosshair placement is actually on my head, as opposed to where my head was / will be during a strafe. This gets players with bad aim an insta tap on me all the time in lower elo.

And honestly Aim wise it really is just steps to follow : Aim before you shoot, strafe first to put off the enemy, confirm crosshair on target while strafing, 2 shots, strafe again and repeat :D Although i’m still learning a lot I highly recommend it to anyone, it makes it much easier

I noticed that if I play Valorant when my life is set up (my work is done, my homework is done etc.) I play 2-3 times better than when I'm lacking on some tasks. It sounds childish and irresponsible but sometimes you feel like you should have fun now to deal with stuff later. And I learned that it's not how it works. So, in conclusion, make sure nothing doesnt distract you from game, you must prioritize more important things in life so you actually can have fun in Valorant

Lemme add 1 practice routine for this. Go into range and turn bots into mid(beginners can go easy) u strafe/2bullet shot kill bot after the kill then u strafe shoot into the mid pillar, repeat. That will improve ur timing with shooting 2 bullet shots and strafe acc later u can ramp it up by going hard bots. Its ideal for this type of shooting. Give it a try

It's not really beneficial mid game, but I usually find value after death. Like when I miss a shot, I use the graphs to find my error. Like, was it a movement error? Or if my game is acting up, I can watch FPS/Network (or just blame my crap aim on my ping even if it just went up a couple millis)
@ron-r9d5yАй бұрын
i usually use the network rtt jitter, packet loss and shooting error graph. im sure its obvious why i use shooting error graph, and the packet loss and rtt jitter graph is so that i can look at it whenever my ping goes up and purposely not swing or peek an angle until it goes down

Honestly I don’t see any difference between your “before” and “after” gameplay. They’re completely different scenarios and you played all of them out nicely, but they’re incomparable honestly. I also find myself playing a lot better after taking a long break, but for me it’s mostly due to the fact that I’m not overthinking during games. When I play a lot I constantly have too many options to pick at one moment and I am hypercritical whenever I make a wrong decision, like “omg I should have wide swung that”. On the other hand, when I’m back from a break, decisionmaking becomes a lot simpler for me and I don’t get overwhelmed by how many options I could take at a moment, I simply have an option that stands out and if it doesn’t work out I don’t feel too bad about it. All in all I just think playing the game after a break gives you a more peaceful headspace and enjoy the game more.

When you take a break you should be careful to not fall back into your old bad habits. I took a 10 day break of gaming as a whole and after that in my first dm i didnt panic i was super calm and didnt crouch spray which were my biggest mistakes. But later i fell back in my old habits and played like before
@hakoszn26 күн бұрын
Levu he is doing a aim mechanic that people call "calm or smooth aiming" it's less flicky and more consistent. His movement during gunfights is tremendously different/better in his after clips. He wasn't bad at all in the before but his after clips shows him specifically missing shots and then taking a shot once he feels he has confirmation that he is on the enemies head. Vs flicking and then trying to commit to the gunfight by crouching and Spraying.

There is nothing wrong with just rushing in for the kills in bronze. From what I’ve seen players in bronze are only there because of mechanics, so I would recommend you to find a nice aimlabs routine and practice. Especially if you don’t have much fps experience on mouse and keyboard
