Super solid info! It blew me away how my gunfights started to look after I started moving and shooting consistently. I still really struggle with the target confirmation though. I need more practice to break my bad habits haha

That same thing happened to me. I reached Ascendant 2 but then started dropping down until I got to Diamond 1 and almost Platinum. I couldn’t understand what was happening until I started watching my old clips and noticed that my playstyle had changed drastically. I think that when I reached Ascendant 2, I felt confident enough and started playing worse. I want to encourage everyone going through this situation-right now, I’m in Immortal 3, and I still have a lot to learn. Stay strong, guys, you can do it!

It's not really beneficial mid game, but I usually find value after death. Like when I miss a shot, I use the graphs to find my error. Like, was it a movement error? Or if my game is acting up, I can watch FPS/Network (or just blame my crap aim on my ping even if it just went up a couple millis)
@ron-r9d5y4 күн бұрын
i usually use the network rtt jitter, packet loss and shooting error graph. im sure its obvious why i use shooting error graph, and the packet loss and rtt jitter graph is so that i can look at it whenever my ping goes up and purposely not swing or peek an angle until it goes down

Sometimes all you need is a bit of time and that does better than just grinding everyday no breaks.

i resonate with this, when i stopplaying 2 or 3 days after bad games, somehow i fragging alot after that. and i noticed that i used the target confirmation methode a lot like between exchange shot and strafe with the enemies somehow i really dialed in on their head level while they are moving so much strafe after strafe i just click the head. in dire situations like being rush. target confirmation can be done like, if u see the enemy and they see u, u dont shoot you confirm the enemies then move and while moving level your corshair on their head then stop and shoot
@Italijan9322 сағат бұрын
Lemme add 1 practice routine for this. Go into range and turn bots into mid(beginners can go easy) u strafe/2bullet shot kill bot after the kill then u strafe shoot into the mid pillar, repeat. That will improve ur timing with shooting 2 bullet shots and strafe acc later u can ramp it up by going hard bots. Its ideal for this type of shooting. Give it a try

One of my biggest question is: “Why you only get better after a long break?” Should I take a long break too?
@levuthaison2 күн бұрын
Honestly I don’t see any difference between your “before” and “after” gameplay. They’re completely different scenarios and you played all of them out nicely, but they’re incomparable honestly. I also find myself playing a lot better after taking a long break, but for me it’s mostly due to the fact that I’m not overthinking during games. When I play a lot I constantly have too many options to pick at one moment and I am hypercritical whenever I make a wrong decision, like “omg I should have wide swung that”. On the other hand, when I’m back from a break, decisionmaking becomes a lot simpler for me and I don’t get overwhelmed by how many options I could take at a moment, I simply have an option that stands out and if it doesn’t work out I don’t feel too bad about it. All in all I just think playing the game after a break gives you a more peaceful headspace and enjoy the game more.

When you take a break you should be careful to not fall back into your old bad habits. I took a 10 day break of gaming as a whole and after that in my first dm i didnt panic i was super calm and didnt crouch spray which were my biggest mistakes. But later i fell back in my old habits and played like before

@adrir0003 күн бұрын
i use 3times your sens lmao mb try 0.1 but if you struggle with mouse space, try higher sens
@chatival2 күн бұрын
I think as long as you can dodge flashes and you don’t need to raise your mouse mid-fight it’s fine. If you feel like you are dying because of low sens a lot you should change it.
@cikiface132 күн бұрын
@@chatival then yeah I probably should. Sadly that’s where I have the least deviation when it comes to aiming. So like that’s where I miss the least shots. I have incredible mousespace, extra wide shoulders(the bones are wider than the average at lot) if I had a higher hz monitor I’d dodge more stuff but yeah with the 60hz tv sometimes Im not reacting. Edit: thank you!
