Just by being there and helping your kids study you're shaping their future.I'm 23 years old and in past 10 years i've seen many people giving up or running away from this responsibility, How women put up with and balance their lives it still amazes me. My parents had so much financial trouble bringing me up but they put up with it for my future and I can confidently say I'm a much much better man because of their relentless efforts and dedication I hope your efforts pay off in a similar way and your kids adore you and your husband for the countless hours you spent shaping their future

lately I have been contemplating this weird "acheivers loop" that I've found myself and you spoke to it in this video. you have expectations to accomplish something in a day and because of your nature, it's an ambitious goal even if you may not think so on the onset. you work your ass off to achieve it. you fall short but feel as though you need a break. you can't enjoy the break because you don't believe you've earned it. so you set another ambitious goal the next time you go to work to make up for what you "failed at." the loop starts again. really cultivating a sense of belief that you deserve rest seems so cheesy and for achievers, kind of produces a syntax error. however, the only reason we do anything is to have a better life. to be able to fully immerse yourself in rest, celebration or relaxation is to augment your human experience and is necessary for a better life. easier said than done but i'll figure it out. decaf coffee helps.

Time blocks (scheduled) combined with an awareness of thoughts leading you down paths of distraction is the magic formula in my opinion. Thoughts like, "Oh I forgot to check X", "Notification pops op", "Urge to check Instagram", etc. - one thought, if acted upon, can lead you to an entire day of distraction. Being able to not act on these inevitable thoughts is TRUE power when it comes to focus, and life in general.

It's 5pm and I just woke up and still have not got out of bed. My sleep has been messed up for weeks. I live with my parents right now (19 years old) and only wake up for online lectures, food and to go to the bathroom. You could say I'm depressed but that might make out that it's not my fault, which it totally is. I'm just a lazy piece of shit right now. I want to fix my sleep but I just can't seem to wake up earlier than my body wants to unless there's something I can't miss (dental appointments, lectures etc). I spend the rest of the day being a shitty family member, not having any energy or will to help out with chores or spend time with my family who are very nice people. Once I'm awake you'll most likely find me slouching at my PC, playing games that I'm not even sure I enjoy, destroying my posture and eyesight among many other things. I really hope I can find motivation somehow, by KZbin videos like this or by something else. I could have switched to another KZbin account in order to stay anonymous however it's 5:30pm, I've procrastinated even writing this comment and I'm lazy af. Time is ticking by and I still haven't gotten out of bed. If anyone is invested in this comment, I may try and improve my life and keep you updated but I've said that before to myself many times and I'm still like this so not likely If anyone who knows me reads this, please just ignore it and never bring it up, thank you :)

Soon your whole youth will get away from your grasp,3 years from now you'll feel empty,You'll regret wasting your youth and you'll regret ever spending so much time with virtual things that aren't worth it. The people around you are the people that care about you so don't take them for granted or you'll regret it as well. I've been where you've been, and there are so much things I regret not doing because of this damn technology era. For now,you won't regret anything, you'd feel like you care nothing of what's happening around you. Technology for now is like a way out of this cruel horrible reality. You'll think living like this will last forever but time will always make you reconsider things and see things from a different angle. Watching videos like these won't help, neither will spending time reading articles on how to be productive, until something that impacts in our lives will make us wake up to the cruel reality. In life we have to look for purpose or we'd only live empty like this.

Bro! It’s ok, it will get better!! David Goggins helped me to start exercising in the morning and everything else just fell into place including my sleeping schedule. I’d wake up at 6 looking forward to my morning home gym since regular gyms are still closed. My energy level is high. Highly recommend!!

Aside from the total unprecedented quarantine and change of lifestyle, I related to your comment a bit. I don't assume to know what you're going through. But when I was around your age, I was lethargic and attending school but not motivated to do so or even sure of what I wanted. I would procrastinate or stay inside, rarely speaking with friends. Even to this day I have trouble opening up or speaking from the places that direct my behavior at times. Sometimes this is our spirit's way of communicating that we're not ok. The only problem I see is that you might not be articulating why you're behaving this way if you don't want to behave this way. Please consider journaling. Or any other method of expression and reflection like learning an instrument, art, a sport, hobby, etc. You might find answers your spirit buried deep. At 19, you've learned enough language so the answers will have to come from within, not likely from external sources. You are admirably holding yourself accountable and I hope you would give yourself some slack too. Forgive yourself if or whenever you feel disappointed. You may or may not have trauma but you're dealing with plenty of changes. Hopefully your parents are supportive and not chastising too badly. Update if you give anything a chance.

I'm so sorry to hear this! Also remember there's a pandemic on, so be kind to yourself. One of the best ways to spend time at the moment in my opinion is to get outdoors - it really helps with productivity too! It also helps ground you that the world is still turning and that you'll be OK. Even if you're getting up at 5pm, try and set an alarm for slightly earlier every day until you're waking up at a time in the morning instead! If you try to go for waking up at 7am right away after sleeping at 4 or 5am every day, you're unlikely to succeed. Best of luck - be kind to yourself!

I like this video because it's real. Not overly cut and edited content where the creator gets 100% of everything planned done, with robotic 100% efficiency.

A manual coffee grinder? So this is how you've convinced the biceps particles to come together and form the two greatest mountains of musculature that the world has ever seen?
