@@strawberripawz most common ai styles are a horrific amalgamation of multiple artists and even other ai. at the point you're 'stealing' from ai, its beyond recognizable because your own style will shine through it anyways. even if you were doing a 'master copy' of an artist you can still see your own personal techniques/quirks.

Perhaps an AI that doesn't generate new art but instead searches the web for you to find specific references and gives you details on the artist who drew it do you can do further research on your own might be more helpful that the current existing AI? I'm just throwing about ideas though, not like anyone would take a random youtube comment seriously lol

@@noheroheretryagain837 really helpful for beginners (me), beginners need something to show you art to improve their aesthetic, like someone search “shading” and the AI gives you all masterpiece separated by tags like “top light” “bottom light” or “epic” “chill”, I think a searching engine which is basically an art gallery don’t have copyright problems, just like Pinterest. But a professional artist don’t really need a specific reference to “copy” it, maybe they need a position reference to make the anatomy more correctly, but normally artists need reference to observe textures or a study of different styles as cyberpunk, steampunk, middle age etc. to make their work more “credible”. A professional artists have already the volume the perspective inside their head with countless exercises, you can search some tutorials about finding reference.

@@noheroheretryagain837 because what does art make is make pretty aesthetic arts, don’t need to be correct, when you are drawing and think about “am I doing right to make his arm like this, I think a really human would break his arm with this position.” Does it make the art more aesthetic? Yes? So go ahead. Even 3D art works for the camera view, also you can search 3D animations behind the scenes, when they are making a scene with “tension” they make super long arms by side view but a perfect perspective from camera view.

As far as "lawyer" stuff goes... the US copyright office has ruled that AI art cannot be copyright. So you are honestly free to steal from it. You can even mash it up with your art and then be able to copyright it so long as it is a "new" piece of art made by a "human" hand. (don't just color grade it, that doesn't count).
