I want to take you along in the three substances that influenced my anxiety the most. Over the years I have quit alcohol, drugs & sugar and I noticed how much better I was able to deal with my anxiety. It's just such an overload of bad things for your emotions and especially your gut.
How do you treat yourself around these substances and how are you making sure your gut is in order?

🖤💜🖤 True, true, true ... ;) Well, I already told you alot of my opinion or personal experiences so I leave this out :). Jepp, sugar really is a powerful drug. Again: a socially accepted one - for several reasons and same like alcohol and nicotine, but I won't talk anout that topic again ;). I mean, its harm to our children to put sugar in most of the 'declared healthy and especially developed fir children' foods. Sugar has so much impact on your body, functions and your brain - physically and mentally. Thats really an interesting topic and my last 'fight to win' 😅. And I am also looking forward and am quite, ehm, curious about your special diet and also you maybe like to talk about your personal way through quittung processed sugar? Thats really a struggle for me. I don't know (Of course I know WHY this is so hard for me 🙃 even that I really had 'no probs' with quitting anything else). I don't get me 😅, cause I am quite aware of the benefits for my health - physically and mentally - especially also regarding my energylevel and anxiety. This drug is hard to quit for me but I know, am super sure about that, I ll quit this also some day very SOON. You might be an inspiration for this step to me

Interesting question indeed! I am already aware of how bad sugar is for quite some years due to my dad's diet. So I was already reducing it. Not by those fun and fake 'sugar free' products but just staying away from products with sugar. Once I stopped eating sugar, it was just the benefits that I saw that were more important for me than eating it at all. It's with all the things I treat that way. Me having to deal so much less with anxiety is a big big win, cause it influenced me for years. If that makes sense! What I am currently doing is also a restoration of the microbiome indeed, but mostly just focussed on healing the gut. It is a bit intense cause especially the first week I was sometimes just sleeping 12+ hours a day. As your gut is healing it needs all the energy and it felt a bit confusing at the start, cause it feels bad to sleep that long. The body just needs it. You are right tho, the social aspect and how 'society' treats these topics are just so crazy, let's get kids all addicted to it. Especially where addictions build up with each other and get worse and worse. I will take your questions with me for the video I am making about this topic. Have a wonderful week

how much alcohol were you avtually drinking?

Maybe a beer or 2 a day, some days nothing but the Spati was closeby, gladly already a few years ago :)

@@post.mischa thats not so many. some studies say a bier oder a glass of wine a day has positive health effects.
