You actually can just take chunks of your twists and plait them in 10 sections overnight. This will give you the best stretch that will last throughout the day. I do this every night and my twists hang and shake profusely throughout the day. I have 4c hair and I oil my scalp daily to get the best hang time. No bobby pins or scrunchies needed. This method is most effective with smaller twists. I am able to showcase my true hair length by this method. If I don't plait my twists at night, I will be sporting shrinkage.

I have fine hair too, always loved the look of twists on others but knew my hair wouldn’t look the same. I was afraid it would look too “scalpy” lol. After a few tries I realized that parting is key. For me making square parts (like you would for box braids) works best and looks the least scalpy. I also do them on dry hair, haven’t tried it on damp/wet hair yet.

@fabelsounds4 жыл бұрын
Only issue I would see for myself with this is, in the morning my hair would be separated in the back, from having my hair apart like that. Id have to wet it to get it to come back together. Do you have this issue as well? If so, what do you do in the morning to get rid of the separation in the back?
@loveourworldproductions66404 жыл бұрын
You could part it in three sections two halves and then a section at the top but going back so when you take it out it should more easily cover

I always have the same problem, what I did this time was over moisturized my hair with moisturizers and oils two days before I did them, let my hair dry and combed it out. Applied very little gel to my ends and did pretty much what she does at night or I pull them all the way back and with a headband I band them all the way to my ends and just wear it like that till I'm ready to wear them out. U gotta play around with techniques hope this helps a lil
