100% believer in pre-poo over here. I use the L’Oreal rapid reviver deep conditioner as a pre poo with a little water and it makes a huge difference in my wash day.

Hey, your hair should actually be detangled before you put any water-based products in it. All you should use to detangle is a non-comedogenic oil. Also, There should never be a time when your hair is even able to tangle on itself. That’s the first problem, gotta stop even allowing the hair to tangle in the first place

Omg!! Twaids are awesome. They provide security at the roots, moisture retention and sexy ends. I started doing them to install passion twists last year but always struggled with the transition. It never occurred to me to borrow 2 strands from the 3rd, instead of merging the 2 slimmest ones into one strand, to transition into twist... 🙃😵‍💫 So stupid lol It will make the routine I wrote down tonight so much easier!!! I've been struggling with vaping nicotine all day and drinking until I fall asleep without any fun added to the mix. Plain addiction. I'm tired all the time, not liking the way I feel in my mind and in my body. EVERYTHING in your journey resonates with my present in relation to what I'm trying to get away from and aspiring to feel like. Your take is beautiful and so organic. Based on what I experienced with the Bible and intermittent fasting from vaping, you inspired me and gave me answers to doubts I had regarding "how can I last doing right by me for more than a day...?" lol I know I want to feel great in and out but not enough to pursue it with discipline. The way you talked about your mental clarity, cooking, etc and going to the gym echoes the benefits I experience when I stop vaping and it made me realize that I may need to get a personal trainer, to jumpstart my body care journey, as a way to help me stick to the plan. I never considered getting help outside of my own will, which isn't that strong lol, but the way you deliver your message hit me profoundly and I feel very optimistic about the results the domino effect will yield. The idea of never drinking or vaping again scares the hell out of me and makes me miserable so, I really loved how you look forward to a free summer as a way to go through the withdrawal without being miserable. I struggle with insomnia but reading often puts me to sleep so you reminded me to use it to cope with the absence of alcohol at night. June is not my birthday lol but is a significant month for me next year that I'd like to enter with a clear mind so, I look forward to feeling great about myself by that time after doing the necessary work and sacrifice. Sacrificing a debilitating addiction for a version of me that is healthy, energized, satisfied, and at peace within. Since vaping and drinking go hand in hand, I need a strong hiatus from both before I can start drinking socially again because nicotine gotta go. It has mental and physical effects I would have never known if it wasn't for sporadic fasts from it. It showed me that it was literally my downfall and my salvation if I stopped. I know that you ain't Better Help lol but you hit me the right way and I had to let you know. Thank you for being all that you are. Your personal take and expression are PRICELESS. Keep on sharing ✨️
