I'm just over this head of hair chile 🙄 and I don't do anything with it, but wear a bun 😑 it's curly, but I dont like having my hair down and all on my shoulders and stuff (makes me feel hot, and I don't like heat 😑) I like box braids, but dont have the patience for box braids all the time, plus my hair is too fine in the front to put that type of tension on it 😑 My old stylist told me years ago that I could rock a short cut... I think I'm ready to join the Halle berry/Jada pinkett/Monica Brown Team now 😍💪 lol

I love short hair. I've always rocked short. Your face when the 1 piece of hair didnt act right lol. I wear mine molded never use flatirons and I use my hands to mess up the top. I get so many compliments. We have the same cut and the sit under dryer dries my hair in 30 min. Your hair is kuuuute

Using oil or a hair moisturizer has nothing to do with one's race. There are products that are oil-based that you will not see in the Black hair care section . The next time you go shopping check the hair aisle that you get your products. VO5 hairdress, Vitapointe, Garnier Fructis Dry Oil, Clairol Hot Oil treatment, etc.

Keratin is a protein. If you use it every week your hair will break off. I was using chi keratin line when I started aveda in June. When I got to curriculum it was too late 😔 my hair broke off. Find a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner...use the keratin once or twice a month. ❤️❤️

iamserenanicole that isn’t true, she can use keratin on a weekly basis, you have to balance it with moisture based products. Look at hairlista on KZbin, she uses keratin weekly and has long healthy relaxed hair

jane johnson ummm it’s very true. When you wash your hair it opens the cuticle. When conditioning the hair..the conditioner is deposited into the open cuticle( hair strand). Then you’ll rinse with cold water to close the cuticle. If she’s washing her hair once a week. She will not achieve the proper protein and moisture balance. 🤦🏾‍♀️ if she uses the keratin once or twice a month. Her hair will be balance🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ but okay...KZbin University attendee. ✌🏾

MzTeeL you never specified what keratin product she can use. There are protein leave in conditioners, protein shampoos, light protein treatments, etc. You can use keratin on a weekly basis, it depends on the type of product and what the individual hair needs. Her hair is relaxed, she needs both protein and moisture.
