Wow this is incredible! its amazing how much control you have over how the hair bends and holds position!

It’s all in the crimping!! I definitely did not have much control over that first big spike though haha 🤣

This is so nice! I have never tried crimping on a wig before but this is tempting me 😅 making me want to buy an iron asap!
@mikasyd7 ай бұрын
I recommend you get a practice wig for crimping because it takes a longgggg time to figure out your technique to keeping crimp marks to a minimum 💗

you can use a tacky glue mixed whit water in 1/1 scale (i am yet to try this myself, but it's something sarah spaceman did for her miku pigtails)

How come every time I try this it doesn’t work 🥲

knowing how to manipulate the strands and get them to where you want takes a ton of practice and repetition. I could make a step by step tutorial with every single move and explanation rather than a summary like this video but it is barely going to make a difference. You need experience and muscle memory to develop your own technique of working with wigs. It took over a year of practice for me to get to this point, and I still have sooo much to improve on. There are infinitely many things that could make a difference like the brand, type of wig, type of crimper, brand of straightener, heat, amount of hairspray, humidity, and more. I wish I could help more but this is something every wig stylist goes through and none of us would be able to get where we are without countless hours of practice. The best thing I can recommend for you is to get a wig to practice and experiment on to see what works best for you.

@@mikasyd ah thank you I agree!!! I’ve tried over 5 miku wigs and I’m glad today that my most recent one today has came out the best! I honestly think it’s the brands I’ve used but using practice wigs have definitely helped. Thank you for the advice

@@NikaNicoLovesMiku Ofc! You can also tell if it's a bad quality wig by the hairnet. It if doesn't stretch, it's really cheaply made and bad quality.
